Deze keer heb ik een kaart voor jullie die ik vorige week al beloofd had. Ik maakte toen namelijk een Clean & Simple versie van deze kaart (je vindt hem HIER) en zou laten zien dat je deze kaart ook in een andere variant kunt maken. Dus voila, hier is ie dan!
Tis time present you this card, with a little story connected with it! Last week I happened to show you a clean & simple version of this card (you can find that card HERE) en promised that I would show that you can make a different version of that same card that has a different look. So voila, here it is!

Nu voegde ik echter meer details toe, meer diepte en een aantal "grungy" elementen.
But now I added more details, more depth and a number of "grungy"elements.
Maar er bleven ook dingen hetzelfde. Ik werkte bijvoorbeeldmet de zelfde schets, en gebruikte opnieuw deze prachtige set On the Ocean, met de bijpassende stansset!
But there were also things that stayed the same. I used the same sketch, and uses this beautiful set On The Ocean, with the matching diesset!

Deze keer stempelde ik het schip niet, maar gebruikte ik de prachtige stansen om dit stoere, gedetailleerde schip te maken!
This time I did not stamp the ship, but used the gorgeous dies to make this cool, detailed ship!

En ik bracht er lekker veel diepte in aan, door bijvoorbeeld de zeilen te laten bollen, en een beetje inkt te blenden aan de randjes.
And I added lots of depth by making bulging sails, and adding some ink with Blending Brushes for even more dimension.

Deze keer gebruikte ik een strook van het Delicate Desert DSP om het zeewater te maken. Ik stempelde nog wat extra structuur op het papier en stanste golven uit Vellum Cardstock om lekker veel structuur te maken aan de ruige zee!!
This time I used a strip of the Delicate Desert DSP to make the sea water. I stamped some extra structure on it, and added clouds that I had diecut from Vellum Cardstock to add more texture to the rough sea.
Koel effect toch?

Ik maakte de lucht ook lekker ruig, guur en grijs, door de wolken te stempelen, maar ook verhoogde wolken toe te voegen, door lekker te inkten, en te spetteren!
I made the air rough, gray and moody by stamping the clouds, and adding dimensional clouds too, by inking and splattering a fair amount!

Van de tekst maakte ik een decoratief element door deze te stempelen, en uit te stansen met de Tailor Made Tags Dies. Dit label bewerkte ik lekker ruig en voorzag ik van stoer lint en linnen draad. Daarna voegde ik de drie stuurwielen/roeren toe, als sierelementje.
The text was turned into a decorative element by stamping it and diecutting it with the Tailor Made Tags Dies. The label was "Grunged up" a bit and some cool ribbon and thread was added Then I added the three steeringwheels as embellishments.

Het maakt deze kaart helemaal geschikt voor iemand die door heftige tijden gaat. Juist in stormachtige tijden, als alles grijs en grauw lijkt, als je niet weet hoe dingen gaan lopen, oftewel waar het schip zal gaan stranden, kan een lieve, ondersteunende, welgemeende kaart zoveel goed doen!
It makes this a fitting card for someone who is going to stormy times. Especially when the sea of life gets rough, when everything seems to be dark and gray, and you don't know what the future will bring a warm, well meant supporting card can mean so much!
