Zelfgemaakte kerstornamenten, leuk en persoonlijk! - Stamp 'n Hop Bloghop - All Things Christmas

Leuk dat je langskomt bij de Kijkkast! Ook deze maand voorziet het Stamp 'n Hop team je graag van nieuwe inspiratie!

Thank you for visiting de Kijkkast! Again this month the Stamp 'n Hop group loves providing some new ideas and inspiration!

Aangezien we deze keer "alles wat te maken heeft met kerst" als thema hebben, heb ik me nog even gericht op wat kerstversiering in de vorm van een grappig kerstornamentje!

Since our theme is "Al things Christmas" I focussed on some decorations, and made a silly Christmasornament.

Ik vind het altijd zo leuk om mijn stempelmaterialen voor home deco dingetjes te gebruiken! Dit ornamentje kun je zo in de boom hangen!

I always love using my stamping products to make Home Deco projects. This ornament can easily be hung in the tree!

Mijn inspiratie was zo'n heerlijke ouderwetse sneeuwschudbol!

A Snowglobe was my inspiration!

De Mini Jampotjes, die te vinden zijn in de jaarcatalogus zijn er helemaal perfect voor! Ze hebben een mooi maatje, en zijn van stevige kunststof, dus niet te zwaar!

De Mini Jam Jars that are in the Mini Catalog are perfect for this. They have the right size, and are made of a good quality plastic, so they are not too heavy!

In dit geval heb ik ze ondersteboven gebruikt, zo kan ik de bodem van het potje gebruiken als basis.

I used the jars upside down so I could use the lid as a base!

In de "schudbol" woont deze gezellige sneeuwman!

In this snowglobe lives this cute snowman!

Om deze te maken gebruikte ik de Snowman Season stempelset en de Snowman builder pons. Ik stempelde twee sneeuwpoppen, en kleurde enkele onderdelen er van in met Stampin'Blends. Ook stempelde, kleurde en ponste ik twee hoedjes, en als laatste ponste ik uit Basic Black cardstock de "armpjes" Ik plakte de sneeuwpopjes rug aan rug tegen elkaar zodat het er ook mooi uitziet als het ornament draait in de boom.

To make this I used te Snowman Season stampset, and the Snowman Builde Punch. I stamped two snowmen and coloured some parts with Stampin'Blends. I also stamped, coloured and punched two hats and finally I also punched the arms of some Basic Black Cardstock. I glued the backsides of the snowman together so the ornament will look nice on both sides.

De bovenkant van het potje werkte ik af met diverse gestapelde rondjes die ik uitstanste met de Layering Circles Dies. Door twee even grote cirkels dubbel te vouwen en deze gedeeltelijk op elkaar, en vervolgens op de grotere cirkels te plakken, krijg je een mooi tabje waarin een gaatje kunt maken voor het bevestigen van het lint. Met een Stampin'Chalk Marker tekende ik wat stipjes om het net wat speelser te maken.

The upside of the globe was decorated with several circles that were diecut with the Layering Circles Dies. By taking two small circles of the same size, folding both in half and glueing them together partly, and then on the bigger circles, you get a nice "tab"in whick I made a little opening for my ribbon. I added some white dots with the Stampin, Chalk Marker to make it a little more fun.

Voor wat extra aankleding aan de bovenkant maakte ik nog een leuk labeltje met de Tailor Made Tags dies.

For some extra decoration I added a fun little label that I made with the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

Als laatste had ik wat sneeuwvulling nodig voor op de sneeuwschudbol. Om de deksel op te vullen had ik wat volume nodig. Daarom stanste ik een heel stel blaadjes uit met de Symmetrical Stems Border pons. Dit doet het eigenlijk wonderlijk goed als sneeuwvulling!

Finally I needed some "snow"to fill up the globe. To fill up the lid I needed something with a little volume. I looked around in my stash and finally I came up with a bunch of punched leafs, for which I used the Symmetrical Stems Border Punch. This happens to work wonderfully well as "snow"!

Weet je wat zo leuk is, elk jaar maak ik een paar nieuwe ornamentjes bij, en straks als mijn hobbykamer helemaal klaar is, kan ik ze elk jaar rond de kerst tevoorschijn halen. Zo krijg ik gewoon een groeiende verzameling. Maar ook ga ik er wel een paar extra maken, want het zijn ook ontzettend leuke kadootjes, in plaats van een kaartje!

You knwo what is so nice about this? Every year I make some new ornaments, and soon, when my new stamproom is finished I can use them every year to decorate for Christmas. It is like a growing collection! But I will make some more of this one, because they are very nice little presents, instead of a card!

Ook deze kaart is onderdeel van mijn "kerstkaartenchallenge"waarin ik allerlei kersttrends omzet in kerstkaartjes! Deze keer kan ik trend nummer 27 wegstrepen, Winter Joy Christmas! Deze trend herinnert ons aan de kerst van onze jeugd, met sneeuwpoppen, sneeuw, gezelligheid, en veel zelfgemaakte onderdelen. Volgens mij sluit dit helemaal aan bij deze kaart!... This card is also part of my "Christmascardchallenge" in which I turn all kind of Christmastrends into Christmascards. This time I can take trend 27 from my list: Winter Joy Christmas! his trend reminds us of the Christmasses in our childhood. It contains Snowman, snow, fun and coziness and lots of handmade elements. I suppose we can say this cards fits the trend very well! Click HERE to see all the cards in this serie.

Don't feel blue at Christmas! - Stampin'For Christmas Bloghop

Hallo en welkom bij deze Stampin' For Christmas Bloghop!

Je bent nu in Nederland aangekomen, Mijn naam is Annette Elias, van de Kijkkast!

Waarom maken we het onszelf zo moeilijk, en waarom zouden we alleen vlak voor de kerst kerstkaarten maken... als dat ook verspreid door het hele jaar kan!

Daarom doe ik graag mee met deze bloghop.... Er is immers genoeg te vinden in de jaarcatalogus waarmee je ook nu bezig kunt zijn met je kerstkaarten! Ik vind het een gave uitdaging!

Why would we only make Christmascards when it comes close to Christmasday.... When we can also spread the fun over the whole year. That is why I love participating in this Hop. There are enough products available right now to start making cards rightaway. I think it is a nice challenge!

Titel van deze post is "don't feel blue at Christmas"dus het was al duidelijk dat het een vrolijk kaartje zou worden!

The titlee of this blogpost says "Don't feel blue at Christmas"so it was already a fact that I would make a happy card for today!

Ik besloot een al geruime tijd geliefde kerststempelset te combineren met iets nieuws! Zo krijgt een oudere set meteen weer nieuw elan!

I decided to combined a long loved Christmas Stampset with something new! That way an older set gets a new look too!

De "oude bekenden" zijn de geweldige set Snowman Season en de bijpassende Snowman Builder pons!

Those long time favourites are the stampset Snowman Season and the matching Snowman Builder Punch!

De oorspronkelijke vorm van de sneeuwman zie je hier links, maar door de sneeuwbollen los te knippen en een beetje anders in elkaar te plakken, kun je de sneeuwpoppen allerlei grappige houdingen geven!

The normal shape of the snowmen can be seen on the left... But by cutting the snowballs of which these snowmen are made apart you can reshape them and give them all kinds of funny poses!

Klaar om naar een winters feestje te gaan!

Ready to parteeeeeeeeey!

Dat feestje blijkt een ijskoude sneeuworkaan te zijn ;o)

That party happens to be a snowhurricane!

De new stempelset Spiral Dye heeft zo veel onverwachte kanten!

The new stampset Spiral Dye has so many unexpected sides!

Door hem eerst met Balmy blue te stempelen, en daarna met Versamark die ik vervolgens met Zilver Embossingpoeder heb bestrooid en verhit, krijg je een mooi winters kleurenpalet!

By first stamping it with Balmy Blue, and then adding Silver Embossingpowder and using the Heat Tool to melt it, you get a nice wintery colourpalet!

Onze olijke sneeuwpoppen buitelen er heerlijk in het rond!

Our funny snowmen are twirling around and having fun!

De kaart verdiende een passende binnenkant!

The card deserves a fitting inside!

Allerlei onderdelen van de voorkant van de kaart komen hier weer terug.

Many elements from the frontpanel are used here too!

De "Let it Snow"tekst, de geblende randjes...

... en natuurlijjk nog een geinige sneeuwpop die om het hoekje gluurt!

..... and ofcourse another funny snowman that comes sneaking around the corner!

De kaart kan leuk staan, als een Easelkaart, zodat je alle onderdelen ziet!

The card can stand up nicely, as an Easelcard. That way you can see all the elements.

Een lekker vrolijk, gek, stormachtig kerstkaartje is het zo geworden!

The outcome was a happy, funny, stormy Christmascard!

Dankzij de inspiratie die ik kreeg door de Spiral Dye Set kregen de sneeuwpoppen een heel nieuwe setting. Zo leuk om zo steeds nieuwe combinaties en ideetjes te ontdekken! Dat vind ik echt het leuke aan stempelen!

Thanks to the inspiration I got from the Spiral Dye stampset, the snowmen got a new live too! I love finding new combinations and ideas all the time. That is the fun of stamping!
