Lentekaart met Nested Friends - Stamp 'n Hop Bloghop - Mini Catalog

Hallo en welkom bij de Stamp'n Hop Bloghopgroep!

Hello and welcome to the Stamp 'n Hop Bloghopgroup!

Deze maand gaan we aan de slag met mooie producten uit de Mini Catalogus!

This month we will work with beautiful items from the Mini Catalog!

En ik maakte daarom deze lente achtige kaart!

That is why I made this springtime card!

Het duurt nog een paar maanden, dan zien we hier de vogels weer takjes, wolletjes, en grasjes zoeken om hun nestjes te maken, waar ze daarna hun eitjes in kunnen leggen. Wat mij betreft de mooiste tijd van het jaar!

It will take a few more months, but then we will see birds looking for branches, floss and grasses to make a nest, in which they can lay there eggs. As far as I am concerned this is the best time of the year!

Onder andere daarom ben ik ook helemaal verliefd op deze geweldige set, Nested Friends, met de bijpassende stansen! Beeldschoon, en zo mooi natuurlijk!

That is one of the reasons I fell in love with this beautiful stampset Nested Friends, with the matching dies set! It is just stunning and so natural!

De verfijning en details in deze set zijn gewoon geweldig!! Kijk maar eens naar het nest, en naar alle kleine uitgestanste blaadjes die ik hier en daar achter gestoken heb.

The refinement and details of this set are just gorgeous! Just look at that nest, and to all the diecut leaves I added all over the scene!

Er zit een prachtige nestjesstempel in de set, maar deze keer gebruikte ik de speciale stansen, waarmee je in twee lagen dit prachtig, opengewerkte nestje kunt maken!

De tak en de vogel stempelde ik, kleurde ik in en stanste ik vervolgens uit met de bijpassende stansen.

Het inkleuren deed ik met Stampin'Blends in een techniek die maakt dat je een "schilderachtige"watercolourlook krijgt.

There is a beautiful image in the stampset of a nest, but this time I chose the two dies in the set with which you can make a beautiful nest, in two layers!

The branch and the bird were stamped, coloured and then diecut with the matching dies.

The colouring was done with Stampin'Blends with a fun painterly technique with a watercoloureffect.

De kleuren paste ik uiteraard aan op het gebruikte designpapier.

The colours were ofcourse chosen to match the Designer Series Paper.

Het Delicate Desert DSP is prachtig van kleur, en bevat allerlei geweldige motieven die met van alles te combineren zijn! En de kleuren zijn natuurlijk ook geweldig! De motieven zijn mooi vervaagd en hier en daar een tikkeltje vergrijsd, wat er voor zorgde dat ze mij al heel snel opvielen!

The Delicate Desert DSP has beautiful colours and has different design that can be combined in many ways! And ofcourse the colours are so pretty, and sofitting for a springtime card! The designs of the paper has a bit of a grungy look that caught my eye!

Hier combineerde ik twee van de motieven in zacht Soft Succulent. Door een van de papiertjes te scheuren krijg je meteen wat leuke "spanning"op de achtergrond.

In this case I used two of the designs together. By tearing one of them you immediately get some interest in the background.

Omdat ik wat zachtblauw wilde verwerken liet ik dat op verschillende plekken terugkomen, onder andere heel subtiel in de achtergrond, met stempelen en inkt blenden in Balmy Blue.

Since I wanted to use some soft blue in my card I made sure that colour was used in several parts of the card, for example in the background by stamping and inkblending.

Dit is niet de beste foto, maar hier is wel een beetje te zien hoe ik de vogel iets opbolde en daarna lekker veel glitter toevoegde met de Wink of Stella Glitterbrush.

Wat sequins zorgen voor extra glans en wat twine geeft net even dat stoere effect!

Een cirkel, gestanst uit vellum Cardstock zorgt voor een mooi frame rond het nestje.

This is not the best picture, but it shows I shaped the bird a bit, and that I added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella Glitterbrush.
Some extra shimmer is provided by adding some sequins, and the twine adds a bit of a rustic touch. A circle diecut from vellum forms a nice frame for the bird and nest.

Met deze set kun je zoveel kanten op! Net als bloemen, bomen, blaadjes en vlinders zijn afbeeldingen van vogels eigenlijk voor elke gelegenheid te gebruiken. En als ze dan ook nog eens zo mooi zijn, is het een plezier om mee te werken!

This is such a versatile set! Just as flowers, trees, leaves and butterflies images of birds can be used for any occasion! And when they are as pretty as this set is, it is a joy to create with hem!
