Vandaag hebben we als onderwerp Simple to Stepped Up, oftewel, van eenvoudig tot meer uitgebreid/luxe!
Today our subject is Simple To Stepped Up!
Eenvoud siert, maar er zijn altijd manieren om nog net iets extra's aan je kaart toe te voegen! Het is maar net wat je wilt, wat je bui is, of de gelegenheid!
Keeping it simple can be just beautiful, but there are also ways to add just that little extra! It just depends on what you like, your mood, or the occasion!
Vandaag maakte ik twee verschillende kaarten, met deze kleurrijke tegeltjes!

Today I made two different cards with these colorful little tiles!
Hier gebruikte ik de nieuwe set Tile Garden voor! Een set voor elke gelegenheid, met zo veel creatieve mogelijkheden!
To make this I used the new set Tile Garden! A set that can be used all through the year, with lots of creative possibilities!
Hiermee stempelde en stanste ik deze vrolijke tegeltjes. De stempels hebben een mooi watercoloreffect (Het is een Distinktive stempelset, dus vol detail!) ik stanste diverse maten vierkantjes. Ook voor de achtergrond stanste ik een groot vierkant uit cardstock, om de tegeltjes extra op te laten vallen ten opzichte van de achtergrond.
The lovely tiles were diecut and stamped, all very simple and easy. The flowers have a lovely watercolorlook, which is "build in" the stampset. This is what we call a Distinktive stampset, with lots of detail. I also diecut an extra tile from cardstock, to make the stamped tiles pop a bit more from the background.
En die achtergrond maakte ik met een van de prachtige dessins uit dit pak Mosaic Garden Designpapier.
And this background was made with one of the gorgeous patterns from this Mosaic Garden Designer Series Paper.
Een kaart die niet moeilijk te maken is, maar door de prachtige materialen en laagjes toch best luxe is!
A card that is easy to make, but still looks luxurious because of the beautiful products and layers!
Tijd om te kijken of we er ook iets extra's aan toe kunnen voegen, terwijl we toch dezelfde materialen en kleuren blijven gebruiken!
Time to see if we can step it up a bit, while still using the same materials and colours!

Dus ik maakte deze tweede kaart, nu in een vierkante vorm, formaat 14 x 14 cm.
So I made this second card, now in a square shape, size 14 x 14 cm
Ik matte de tegeltjes nu op gekleurd cardstock en voegde tussen de tegeltjes en het designpapier een extra laag toe.
I layered each tile on coloured cardstock and added an extra layer between the tiles and Designer Series Paper.
De tussenlaag van Basic White cardstock maakte ik speciaal door hier met de stansset ook weer vierkantjes uit te stansen, en er Speciaalpapier Vellum schter te plakken waar ik ook weer vierkantjes uitstanste, zodat je meer en minder doorzichtige doorkijkjes krijgt. Dit is echt een manier om je kaart "Stepped Up"te maken! Het voegt veel extra effect toe, waar je echt een poosje naar blijft kijken.
The layer made with Basic White cardstock was made a bit special by diecutting squares from it with the dies, and adhering Specialty Paper Vellum behind it of which I diecut some squares as well. That way you get more and less transparent see through spots. This is really a way to make a "Stepped Up" version of this card. It add lots of interest, and keeps the eye "strolling" over the card for a while.
Maar nogmaals... ook deze kaart is niet moeilijk te maken, en de materialen doen het meeste werk!
But again, this card is not difficult to make, and the products do most of the work!
De tussenlaag van Basic White cardstock maakte ik speciaal door hier met de stansset ook weer vierkantjes uit te stansen, en er Speciaalpapier Vellum schter te plakken waar ik ook weer vierkantjes uitstanste, zodat je meer en minder doorzichtige doorkijkjes krijgt. Dit is echt een manier om je kaart "Stepped Up"te maken! Het voegt veel extra effect toe, waar je echt een poosje naar blijft kijken.

De tegeltjesstansen (Tile Garden stansen) zijn zo veelzijdig te gebruiken, de verschillende sierrandjes zijn prachtig, en je krijgt meteen heeellll veel maten!
The Tile Garden Dies are so incredibly versatile, the different decorative edges are just beautiful, and you get so many different sizes in this set!
Both cards were decorated with these Glossy Garden embellishments, and ofcourse the colours match perfectly with the DSP!
Het werkt gewoon zo fijn als je alles bij elkaar past! En dat is natuurlijk gegarandeerd als je producten uit een collectie gebruikt, zoals dit Mosaic Garden Collectiepakket! Deze collectie is voor alle gelegenheden geschikt, en je vindt deze in de nieuwe September-December Catalogus.
It just works so nice when everything goes together so perfectly! And ofcourse you can be sure it all matches when you use products from a collection, like this Mosaic Garden Suite Collection! These products can be used for all occasions, and can be found in the new Sept-Dec Catalog!
