Er zijn heel veel dingen die ik leuk vind binnen het stempelen, maar eentje daarvan is zeker het maken van Funfold kaarten. Kaarten in een andere vorm dus, of met een leuk grapje of effect, of gewoon een net even andere kaart dan het recht toe recht aan model.! En laat het maken van een Funfoldkaarten nu net het onderwerp van deze bloghop zijn!
In stamping there are many things I like, but making Funfoldcard is definitely one of them. Funfolds can be cards in a different shape, or with a little fun effect, surprise or just something other than the basic shaped card. So how fun is it that making funfoldcards is the theme of this bloghop!
We werden ook gevraagd om het zo veel mogelijk in herfstsfeer te doen! Geen straf voor mij, want alhoewel ik op dit moment nog volop geniet van de zomer, vind ik in het kaartenmaken de herfst altijd een heerlijk thema!
We were also asked to make it in falltheme, as far as possible. I did not mind at all, because although I am still enjoying the summertime at the moment, in cardmaking I love the fall theme!
Dus ik maakte voor jullie vandaag een Gatefold Pop Up kaart in een warme herfstsfeer, waarbij de verrassing aan de binnenkant zit!

De prachtige krans, met de extra takjes, blaadjes en details maakte ik met het Cottage Wreath productpakket. Deze bestaat uit the Cottage Wreaths stempelset en de zeer uitgebreide Country Wreaths Dies! Deze set is te vinden in de Mini Catalogus!

Stempels en stansen maken deel uit van een hele serie producten die supermooi op de set aansluiten, de Gingham Cottage collectie! Deze setie is zo ontzettend mijn ding! Ik houd van de landelijke, tijdloze, stoere uitstraling EN de veelzijdigheid, want met deze set kun je echt het jaar rond uit de voeten! Zo maakte ik er laatst nog deze zomerkaart mee!
Stamps and dies are part of a collection of products that are a lovely match with thw bundle, The Gingham Cottage Suite collection! If you know me a bit you must lnow this set is totally my thing! I love the country/farmhouse look, the rustic vibe, and the endless ways it can be used! This collection is so incredibly versatile! You can really use it through the whole year! Like this Summercard I made recently!
De kaart heeft een "belly band"die hem dicht houdt.
The card has a belly band that keeps it closed!
Je kunt deze er zo afschuiven, en dan zie je de volledige panelen op de voorzijde helemaal! Ik maakte deze met designpapier, en bewerkte ze een beetje, om net nog iets leuker bij mijn thema te laten passen. Je zou deze stap ook over kunnen slaan, maar ik vind het zelf gewoon leuk om net dat beetje persoonlijke aanvullingen te doen.
It can slide of the card, and then you can fully see the panels on the front of the card. I decorated them with Designer Series paper, and added a bit of "oomph" to make them match with the feeling of the card even better. You could skip this step, but I happen to like little personal touches like these.
De leuke ruitjes in het Gingham Cottage DSP zijn gewoon geweldig. Je hebt verschillende ruiten in dezelfde kleurstelling, en door de grote verscheidenheid aan kleuren kun je echt het hele jaar vooruit!
The lovely ginghampatterns in this pack of Gingham Cottage DSP is just gorgeous! There are different patterns in the same colours, and because of all the different colours in the pack, there is something for every season, and every occasion.
Het is superleuk om de printjes te combineren, zoals ik hier aan de binnenkant van de kaart deed!
It is superfun to combine different patterns, like I did here, on the inside of the card!
De toegevoegde details heb ik dan ook gecentreerd op de krans die omhoog "popt"en het sierelement op de Belly Band.
The added details were mainly centered on the Wreath that is "popping up"and on the decorative element on the Belly Band.
De kaart is leuk neer te zetten, waarbij de krans mooi naar voren komt, en alle aandacht krijgt. Ik hoor vaak dat mensen het leuk vinden als je een kaart mooi neer kunt zetten! In de video laat ik je precies zien hoe het werkt, en hoe het gemaakt is.
The card can stand up nicely, and when you do this the wreaths comes forward and gets all the attention! I often get the positive feedback of people who love it when a card can stands up nicely! In the video I will show you how it works, and how it was made!

Voor het rustieke, natuurlijke herfstgevoel decoreerde ik de kaart met het Silver Threaded Twine, dat ook onderdeel is van de Gingham Cottage Collectie, en wat Linen Thread.
For the rustic, natural fall look I added some decoration with the Silver Threaded Twine which is also part of the Gingham Cottage Suite Collection, and some Linen Thread.
Ik heb ontzettend veel plezier gehad aan het maken! En ik hoop binnenkort een speciaal iemand met deze kaart te mogen verrassen! Een blijk van waardering is immers heel waardevol, zeker als deze ook nog eens tastbaar is, in de vorm van een handgemaakte kaart!
I really enjoyed making this card, and I hope to surprise someone special with this card soon! A sign of appreciation is so valuable, especially when it is done with a handmade card, that you can keep and cherish.

Het onderwerp van deze maand is FUNFOLD KAARTEN!
This month we we will all make FUNFOLD CARDS!
Daarom heb ik speciaal voor deze bloghop een nieuwe Funfoldkaart ontworpen, met een "speciaal effect" aan de binnenkant!
That is why I designed a new Funfold Card, especially for this bloghop, with a "special effect" on the inside!
Vind je ook niet dat de wereld momenteel wel een mega dosis LIEFDE kan gebruiken? Je zou toch liefst de wereld willen bedekken met een dikke laag liefdesconfetti!? Oh....Als dat toch eens zou kunnen!
Don't you agree that the world needs a huge amount of LOVE at the moment? I wish we could cover the whole earth with a thick layer of love-confetti! Oh...If only that was possible!
Wereldwijd... nee dat is wel een beetje heel groot dus dat gaat niet lukken, maar in het klein, bij degene naar wie je deze kaart stuurt, kan het natuurlijk wel! Letterlijk! Ik heb namelijk deze Liefdevolle Confetti Popper kaart bedacht, die letterlijk een handvol liefdesconfetti over iemand uitstrooit, zodra de kaart wordt geopend!
Worldwide, well ofcourse that is a bit too much to do, but on a smaller scale, like to the person that will receive this card, you can! Literally! That is because I designed this Love Confetti Popper card, that literally throws out a handfull of LOVE confetti when this card is opened!
Naar mijn idee moest deze kaart aan een aantal dingen voldoen:
*Het moest een handjevol confetti kunnen Poppen"
*Deze confetti moest er niet van te voren al uitvallen
*Voor een optimaal verrassingseffect moest de confetti echt "afgeschoten"worden als de kaart wordt geopend.
* de "pop" moet precies op het goede moment komen, niet te snel, en niet te laat.
*Je moet hem kunnen hergebruiken
*Deze funfold kaart moest redelijk makkelijk te maken zijn, en met alleen stempels, inkt, papier en
*Hij moest er vrolijk, liefdevol en gezellig uitzien!
My thought was that this card would have to fit certain standards to succeed:
*It had to hold and pop a handful of confetti
*I did not want the confetti to fall out prematurely
*For a optimal surprise effect I really wanted the confetti to be "launched" instead of just falling out
*The "pop" has to come on exactly the right moment, not too quick and not too late.
*The Funfoldcard had to be reusable more than once
*It had to be rather easy to make, and only out of stamps, inks and paper and...
*it had to look nice, happy and full of love!
In deze clip van 15 seconden zie en hoor (!) je of dit is gelukt ( let goed op want de "pop"gaat heel snel!)
In this 15 second Clip you can see and hear (!) whether my plan succeeded! ( pay attention to the "POP", it goes very fast!)

Voor dit project gebruikte ik de Sweet Conversations stempelset, de Sweet Heart Dies, het Sweet Talk Designpapier en de Iredescent Rhinestones. Deze komen allemaal uit de Sweet Talk Collectie, die te vinden is in de Mini Catalogus

Na het openen van de kaart kun je deze steeds opnieuw "herladen" en opnieuw laten "poppen"!
After opening the card you can reload it over and over again, and make it "pop" as often as you like!
Ik hoop dat ook jij, door middel van deze kaart, heel veel liefde zult gaan verspreiden! Van liefde kun je nooit genoeg hebben toch?
