Queen Bee in Moderne Shabby stijl met bladgoud - Totally Techniques Bloghop - Gilded Leafing

maand weer een leuke techniek "uitgediept" en laten je samen diverse voorbeelden zien!

Welcome to this Bloghop of the International Totally Technique Designteam! This month we have chosen another fun technique again and together we will show you several examples of it! Happy to see you here!

Deze maand kwam een door mij gekozen product aan de beurt, namelijk het Gilded Leafing, oftewel ons bladgoud! Ik had dit namelijk gekozen omdat je er zo ontzettend veel leuke dingen mee kunt doen!

This time it is the turn of a product I had chosen: Our Gilded Leafing! I had requested this products since it has so many cool possibities for using it!

Het Bladgoud wordt verkocht in een flinke pot, en daar zit zo veel in dat je er jaren, misschien zelfs je hele "stempelleven"er mee kunt doen!

The Gilded Leafing is sold in a pot and there is so much in it that you have enough for years of using it, maybe even for your whole "Stampin'Live!"

Het is werkelijk enorm veelzijdig, en het geeft een geweldig, luxe, vintage achtig, artistiek of shabby effect aan je projecten, afhankelijk van hoe je het gebruikt en combineert!

It is hugely versatile, and it gives a luxurious, vintagelike, artistic or shabby effect to all your projects, depending on how it is used and what it is paired with.

De set die ik vandaag gebruikte is Queen Bee, met de bijpassende Queen Bee dies. Deze geweldige en bijzondere set is te vinden in de Mini Catalogus!

The set I used today is Queen Bee, with the matching Queen Bee dies. This gorgeous and unique set is in our Mini Catalog!

En op mijn kaart paste ik het Gilded Leafing/bladgoud op maar liefst drie verschillende manieren toe! En kijk eens hoe mooi dat glanst!

And on my card I used the Gilded Leafing in three different ways. Oh, look at that lovely shine!

De drie technieken die ik gebruikte zijn:

1 Embossingfolder combineren met bladgoud

2 Schilderen met bladgoud

3 Stempelen met bladgoud

En in de video leg ik uit hoe ik dit deed!

The three techniques I used are:

1 Embossingfolder with Gilded Leafing

2 Painting with Gilded Leafing

3 Stamping with Gilded Leafing.

And in the video I show you how I did that!

Voor de prachtige tussenlaag met gouden structuur gebruikte ik een van de drie embossingfolders uit deze prachtige set: Basic 3 D Embossingfolders. Deze set van drie is NIEUW en is onderdeel van ons Online Only collectie!

For the lovely layer with the gold structure I used one of the three Embossingfolders of this gorgeous set: Basic 3D Embossingfolders. This set is NEW and is part of our Online Only offering!

Voor het stempelen met bladgoud gebruikte ik dit handige Heat & Stick Powder!

For the stamping with Gilded Leafing I used this handy Heat & Stick Powder.

Ook voegde ik een laagje met prachtig design toe, uit dit pak Perfectly Penciled DSP! Dit vond ik er zo goed bijpassen!

Some DSP was added as well, and it came from this lovely Perfectly Penciled DSP! I love how well it matches!

Het inkleuren in paars deed ik met Stampin'Blends, maar voor het schilderen met het bladgoud gebruikte ik de Water Painters! Het leuke bij dit materiaal vind ik dat de kleine imperfecties het alleen maar mooier maken!

The colouring in Highland Heather was done with Stampin'Blends, but for painting with Gilded Leafing I used the Water Painters. One thing I like about this Gilded Leafing is that it creates small imperfections, that only add up to the artistic look!

Met alle mooie extra stansjes in de set kon ik de hoeken mooi en sierlijk afwerken! Het is is een heerlijk uitgebreide set!

All the extra little dies in the set allowed me to decorate the corners in a lovely way! I love it when there are so many fun elements in a set!

De tekst stempelde ik op Highland Heather cardstock en knipte ik simpelweg uit. Een gouden strikje gemaakt met het Simply Elegant Trim is tenslotte toegevoegd als laatste afwerking.

The texts were stamped on Highland Heather cardstock and handcut. A little bow of some Simply Elegant Trim in Gold is added as a final finishing touch.

En dan te bedenken dat er nog veel meer manieren zijn om met dit gave materiaal te werken!

Can you imagine there are many more ways to use this lovely product?

Vriendelijke Vintagekaart met Queen Bee - New At Su Bloghop - Mini Bundle

Deze maand hebben we een dubbele opdracht! We gebruiken namelijk allemaal een Bundle, oftewel een productpakket, uit de nieuwe Mini Catalogus, EN we maken een project ZONDER daarbij Basic Wihite Cardstock te gebruiken!

This month we have a double challenge! We all will use a Bundle from the newest Mini Catalog AND we will make a project without using any Basic White Cardstock!

Voor vandaag maakte ik een vriendelijke kaart, in een stijl die het beste te omschrijven is als "Shabby Chic Vintage"!

For today I made a friendly card in a style that can best be described as "Shabby Chic Vintage"!

Het productpakket dat ik uitkoos is deze Queen Bee stempelset, met de bijpassende Queen Bee stansset! Beeldschoon vind je niet?

The Bundle I have chosen is tje Queen Bee stampset with the matching Queen Bee dies! Isn't it gorgeous?

Deze set nodigt meteen uit om in een collageachtige stijl te werken. Er zitten zoveel mooie stempels bij, en de bijpassende stansset heeft enorm veel leuke extra elementen. Je kunt hiermee bijvoorbeeld een romantische kant op gaan, een meer botanische, of zoals hier gebeurde, een meer stoere, shabby stijl.

This set is inviting to work in a collage-like style! There are so many nice stamps, and the diesset has so many fun extra elements. You can for example choose a romantic style, a more botanical style, or as I did here a more distressed, shabby, messy style!

Wat bij deze stijl hoort is veel ruige randjes, stoere kleuren, volop lagen en structuur, en de nodige sleetse plekjes en bewuste imperfecties!

Part of this style are distressed edges, weathered colours, lots of layers and structure, and lots of worn pieces and a fair amount of deliberate imperfections!

De achtergrond is opgebouwd met inkten, stempelwerk, en willekeurige stroken designpapier!

The background was build up with inking, stamping and random strips of Designer Series Paper!

Het designpapier komt eigenlijk uit onverwachte hoek, maar pas wonderlijk goed bij de look die ik wilde krijgen! Het is het Delicate Desert DSP, wat ook in de Mini Catalogus te vinden is! Je ziet vier van de printjes subtiel in mijn kaart terugkomen, en hier en daar scheurde ik de randjes.

The DSP I used may come from an unexpected place, but fits wonderfully with the look I wanted to achieve. It is the Delicate Desert DSP, also from the Mini Catalog. You can find four of the prints in my card, and some edges were torn for a shabby look.

Als blikvanger voegde ik natuurlijk de prachtige grote BIJ toe! Deze plaatste ik op een paar horizontale stroken papier, en een stukje van het fraaie Frayed Ribbon, wat er ook weer prachtig bij past! Dit prachtige lint is overigens ook nu als Sale-A-Brationgeschenk gratis te kiezen bij een bestelling vanaf 60 euro!

As a focal Point ofcourse I added the beautiful big BEE image! This was placed on some horizontal paperstrips and a piece of the gorgeous Frayed Ribbon. This lovely ribbon fits so well with this style, and is now a Sale-A-Brationgift that can be chosen with a 60 euro order.

Om de geweldige bij er echt uit te laten springen heb ik deze geheatembossed met Zwart Embossingpoeder! Daarna kleurde ik enkele onderdelen in met Stampin'Blends in een bijpassende kleur, namelijk Cajun Craze. Met de bijpassende stans stanste ik eerst de bij uit, en vervolgens de opengewerkte vleugeltjes uit Vellum Cardstock. De vleugeltjes bevestigde ik dan op de bij, en dit werkte ik af met een subtiel hartje. Dit geeft echt een prachtig 3d effect aan de bij!

To make the beautiful Bee image pop even more I heatembossed it in black. Some parts were coloured with Stampin'Blends in a Matching colour: Cajun Craze.

With the matching dies I first diecut the bee and then the matching detailed wings from some Vellum Cardstock. I layered the wings on the bee and added a subtle heart. This really makes the bee stand out, and gives it a beautiful 3d effect!

Na het toevoegen van de bij voegde ik de tekstjes toe, en ook allerlei mooie uitgestanste elementjes. Er zitten er volop in de stansset, dus je kunt volop varieren! Daar houd ik zo van! Het maakt de set nog fijner te gebruiken!

After adding the bee I added the texts, and all kind of diecut elements. There are many shapes to choose from the diesset, so a lot of variety is possible! I just love that!

De combinatie van het koele, vergrijsde Gray Granite en het warme. rijkeCajun Craze, met kleine elementen in Basic Black vind ik echt heel stoer bij elkaar. En de inspiratie hiervoor kwam dus simpelweg uit het DSP!

The combination of the cool, muted Gray Granite, and the warm rich Cajun Craze, with little elements in Basic Black are a great find! It was the DSP that inspired me to pair them!
