Happy Birthday, is het onderwerp van deze maand! Datis fijn, want verjaardagskaarten heb je het hele jaar door nodig!
Happy Birthday, is the theme of this month. Always a nice theme, because after all we need Birthdaycards all through the year!
Aangezien ik nog steeds regelmatig hoor dat men mannenkaarten lastig vindt, EN omdat ik toevallig een paar jarige mannen in mijn omgeving heb, besloot ik een stoere, mannelijke kaart te maken!
Since I still hear sometimes that people think making cards for men is thought of as difficult, AND I happen to have some male friends that are having their birthdays, I decided a masculine card!
En zo combineer ik een nieuw product met een stempelset met stansen die tot nu toe vrij weinig aandacht heeft gekregen terwijl ie toch zo supergaaf is!
And it is a great way to combine a new product with a bundle that has had rather little attention despite it being an awesome set!
De set is helemaal in ritsenthema, en heeft de naam All Zipped Up, en er horen supergave, realistische stansen bij!
The set is all in Zippertheme, and has the name All Zipped Up, and there are great, superrealistic dies that go with it!
En daarmee kon ik dit superstoere ritsvest maken. Zoals je ziet heb ik er een tweezijdige rits van gemaakt, want ik vond die hangertjes zo leuk en levensecht!
Ook besloot ik de rits uit het midden te plaatsen en de rits open te laten. Dat vond ik hier net even leuker staan.
With these I was able to make this cool vest! As you can see I made it a two-way Zipper. That little hanger is just so fun!
I also decided to place the zipper right from the centre, and to keep the zipper open. I thought in this case this added some interest.

Door de ritsonderdelen uit Silver Foil cardstock te stansen maak je het natuurlijk nog echter!
By diecutting the Zipperelements from Silver Foil you can make them even more realistic!
De stoere tweedstof maakt het vest lekker stoer!
The Cool Tweed makes the vest look rustic!
Hiervoor gebruikte ik dit superleuke nieuwe Need For Tweed Designpapier. Dit papier is nieuw, en is vanaf begin van deze maand te vinden bij de Online Only producten.
What I used for this is this superfun and brand new Need for Tweed DSP. This new DSP is part of the new Online Exclusive items that are available since earlier this month!
Naast ritsen zitten er ook allerlei leuke accessoires bij de stansset, om het nog verder aan te kleden. Zo gebruikte ik hier twee van de pockets, die ik onderaan het vestje bevestigde. Met de Neutrale Dots, ook een nieuw product, werkte ik de zakjes af.
Apart from the Zippers in the set there are several accesories too, to decorate even more. Here I used two of the pockets that I adhered to the bottom of the vest. With the new Neutral Dots I finished them up.
De tekst stelde ik samen uit twee teksten uit de stempelset!
The text was assembled from two texts from the stampset!
Ook aan de binnenkant kwam een passende tekst, en met wat restjes rits, en weer zo'n leuk ritshangertje, laat ik het thema hier ook terugkomen.
On the inside of the card an extra text was added, decorated with some leftover pieces of Zipper, and one more little Zipperhanger to make sure the theme was also continues on the inside.
