Charming Flowercard - Stamping with Friends Bloghop - Designer Series Paper

Welcome to this Stamping with Friends Bloghop! In this hop we bring you some fresh stamping inspiration from all over the world! After all this is one of the big bonuses of this fantastic hobby: The contacts and friendships it brings! Distances and borders play no role here!

Vandaag  zetten we het design papier in het zonnetje! Het Designer Series Paper, oftewel DSP, van Stampin'Up! is bijzonder! Niet alleen is het heel erg mooi, ook zijn er bijpassende items bij te bestellen en zijn de kleuren van het DSP ook  te vinden in inkt en cardstock, en vaak ook embellishments!

Today we are highlighting the Designer Series Paper! The DSP of Stampin'Up! is special! Not only is it gorgeous, but there are also matching stampsets and often dies in most cases, and the colours of the DSP are also available in inks and cardstocks, and often in embellishments!

Bovendien kun je er allerlei leuke technieken mee doen, waarvan ik er vandaag een paar laat zien!
Vandaag maakte ik deze romantische bloemenkaart, vol laagjes en details en met een Shabby uitstraling.

Apart from that you can do all kind of fun things with it, of which I will show you a few today!
I made this romantisch flowercard, with lots of layers and details, and gave it a shabby touch!

Het mooie nieuwe DSP dat ik gebruikte heet Floral Charm DSP! Het is onderdeel van het nieuwe aanbod Online Only items dat we er sinds begin juli bij gekregen hebben.

The lovely new DSP I used is called Floral Charm DSP. It is part of the new offerings of Online Exclusive items, that we got since the beginning of july.

Ik zocht twee bij elkaar passende papiertjes uit. Een meer opvallend dessin, en een rustig basisdessin, en sneed van beiden vierkante panelen. Door de randjes aan te zetten met inkt en een Blending Brush krijg je meteen een vintage effect.

I looked for two matching designs. One is more outspoken, the other more subtle, and I cut two square panels of them. By inking the edges with a Blending Brush you immediately get a vintagy effect.

De bloemen die ik er vervolgens op verwerkte passen perfect bij het Designpapier!

The flowers that I layers upon the panels matches perfectly with the Designer Series Paper!

Deze maakte ik met deze, eveneens nieuwe Online Only set: Charming Day, met de bijpassende stansen.

These were made with this, also new Online Exclusive set: Charming Day, with the matching dies.

Met de stempels en de stansen maakte ik allerlei bloemen en blaadjes, in een lekkere verscheidenheid, zodat je een lekker "wild" geheel krijgt, met een afwisselend beeld, en veel lagen, maar nog steeds samenhangend. De gestempelde bloemen kleurde ik in met Stampin'Blends.

With the stamps and dies I made all kinds of flowers and leafs, in a nice diversity, to get a fun, wild, ecclectic look with lots of differences and layers, but still coherent. The stamped flowers were coloured with Stampin'Blends.

Je kunt trouwens ook prima op DSP stempelen. Hier deed ik dat met de tekststempel op het middelste paneel. Omdat het design donker van kleur is, heb ik de tekst in dit geval geheatembost in wit.

You can definitely stamp on DSP! In this case I did that with the text stamp on the central panel. Since this DSP has a dark colour, I heatembossed the text in white.

Hier en daar kwamen wat glinsterende dots, in bijpassende kleur, de Charming Shimmer Dots.

On some spots I added some Shimmery dots, in a matching colour, the Charming Shimmer Dots.

Stempels, stansen, designpapier en dots komen allen uit dit nieuwe Charming Day productpakket!

Stamps, dies, Designer Series Paper and dots are all from this new Charming Day Collection!

Omdat alles zo goed bij elkaar past lijken de onderdelen in elkaar te versmelten!

Because everything matches so well all elements seem to melt together!

Ik vond ik mijn collectie ook nog dit prachtige lint, in Mossy Meadow met subtiele goudglittertjes er in, dat onderdeel is van een andere serie maar ook bij dit Productpakket perfect past! Om het glinstertje wat door te trekken kregen ook de bloemen en blaadjes een glinsterlaagje met de Wink of Stella Glitterbrush.

I found some lovely ribbon in my rack, in Mossy Meadow with subtle gold shimmery bits, which is part of another collection, but is also a perfect match with this one. To make the Shimmer come back in other parts I gave the flowers and leafs some shimmer too with the Wink of Stella Glitterbrush.
