Wat een mooie kleurcombinatie hebben we deze keer! Sahara Sand, Misty Moonlight en Highland Heather. Nadat ik eerst over bloemen had nagedacht besloot ik het uiteindelijk over een heel andere boeg te gooien, en er een kaart met een mooie strakke indeling van te maken.

Such a beautiful Colourcombination did we get for this month! Sahara Sand, Misty Moonlight and Highland Heather! After giving it some thoughts I decided to change my first plan completely: It would not be a flowery card, but a card with clean, abstract lines.

Het werd eigenlijk best een stoer kaartje, die prima geschikt is voor een man. Nu kun je dat met de kleuren Misty Moonlight en Sahara Sand wel verwachten, maar het Highland Heather is een leuke, onverwachte en ongebruikelijke aanvulling!

In fact it became a rather cool card that can very well be send to a man. You can expect a manly subject when you use Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand together, but the Highland Heather is an unexpected and unusual addition to the scheme!

De stempels en dies van de The Right Triangle Bundle zijn hier echt perfect voor! Het is gewoon weer eens heel iets anders dan anders!! En zo veelzijdig te combineren, voor allerlei gelegenheden en eigenlijk zo'n beetje ALLE thema's! Stempels en dies kunnen apart besteld worden, maar bestel je ze samen, als Bundle, geeft dat een Bundelkorting van 10 procent. Je vind de set op bladzijde 35 van de jaarcatalogus. Bestel je er een klein dingetje bij, krijg je deze maand ook nog eens de Bonus Day voucher bij twv 6 euro! Altijd mooi meegenomen ;o)

The Stamps and Dies of the Right Triangle are perfect for this! I LOVE the fact that Triangles are really something else, something new, and still they are extremely versatile. Stamps and Dies can be ordered separately, but ordering them as a bundle gives a 10 percent discount! ( and when you add a little something, you can get a 6 euro voucher too!

 

Zoals je kunt zien gebruikte ik bijna alle stempels uit de set. Alleen de "bloemige"driehoeken niet...

As you can see I used almost all of the dies in the set, except for the "flowery"ones.....

Op mijn kaart voegde ik allerlei driehoeken samen tot een spannende "border" die mooi uitkomt doordat ik de rest leeg heb gelaten.

On my card I used several triangles to form a decorative "border" which stands out extra much because of the empty space on the rest of the card,

Door enkel driehoeken te verhogen met Stampin'Dimensionals krijg je ook nog een mooi schaduweffect.

Giving some of the triangles extra dimension by adhering them with Stampin'Dimensionals, you also get a nice shadow effect.

 

The tekst ( uit de set Van Alles Wat) stempelde ik op een smal reststrookje waar ik een mooi bijpassend eindje aan ponste door een uiteinde in de Classic Label pons te doen.

The Sentiment was stamped on a leftover strip of cardstock on which a made a nice matching end by putting this end in the Classic Label Punch.

Aan de zijkant van de border maakte ik nog een mooi sierrandje met een prachtige driehoekjesrandjesstans (wat een lang woord he? ;o)) uit de Stitched Triangle Dies.

On the left I made an extra decorative strip with a lovely Triangleborderdie from the Stitched Triangle Dies

En met wat Linen Thread, dat er ook weer perfect bij past, werk ik de sierrand leuk af!

And with some Linen Thread, that matches the color scheme perfectly, I add the finishing touch to the decorative border.

Ik vind de kleuren prachtig bij elkaar, en het is zo superleuk om een van de ontelbare mogelijkheden van de The Right Triangle Bundle zo aan jullie te laten zien!

I love these colours together, and it was fun to show one of the numerous possibilities of the The Right Triangle Bundle to you!

Driehoeken als basis - Stamp 'n Hop Bloghop - My Favourite Bundle

Deze keer mochten we aan de slag met onze favoriete Bundle, welke tegenwoordig ook wel productpakket wordt genoemd.

This time we were asked to make something with a favourite Bundle!

Eigenlijk heb ik twee favoriete bundles op mijn kaart gebruikt, twee sets waar je in eindeloos veel stijlen en combinaties kunt werken, wat het beide tot waardevolle aanwinsten maakt! Er zijn heel veel prachtige Bundles te vinden in de catalogi... Stempels met dies, of stempels met pons(en), wat naast het gebruiksplezier ook nog eens een korting van 10 procent oplevert ten opzichte van de prijzen van de producten als je deze los koopt!

In fact I used not one but two of my favourite Bundles for my card! Two sets that can be used and combined in endless variations! This makes them both valuable additions for a stampers collection! There are so many beautiful bundles in our catalogs... stamps with dies, or stamps with punch(es).. Bundles always have a 10 procent discount compared to the full prices of the products!

De The Right Triangle Bundle is geweldig! Voor dit project heb ik de driehoeken als basis gebruikt, maar je kunt er nog veel, veel meer mee hoor! >>Hier<< zie je wat er bijvoorbeeld ook mee kan!

The Right Triangle Bundle is perfect! For this project I used it to make a base, but there are lots and lots of other options to use these! You can see more ideas with this set >>HERE<<!

Ik stanste twee verschillende spitse driehoeken uit met de Stitched Triangle Dies uit DSP. Hierop stempelde ik heel licht een bloemmotiefje uit de The Right Triangle stempelset. Deze driehoeken vormen de basis voor de rest van mijn kaart! Ze hebben samen een mooi strak grafisch effect.

I Diecut two different sizes of triangles with the Stitched Triangle Dies from some DSP. I stamped some little flowers on them from the The Right Triangle stampset. The two triangles look clean and graphic and are a great base to add other elements on.

De kleuren van het DSP heb ik in de rest van de kaart doorgevoerd.

The colours of the DSP are use elsewhere in the card too.

In het Artistry Blooms DSP zitten artistieke dessins met sprekende kleuren, maar ook zitten er rustigere papiertjes in, zoals het vel dat ik koos, met het mooie kleurverloop!

In the Artistry Blooms DSP are papers with bold bright artistic patterns, but there are also more subtle designs, as the one I chose for my card, with beautiful gradiant colours.

Voor de bloemen gebruikte ik dus de kleuren uit het papier dat ik had gekozen! Ik gebruikte hiervoor een andere favoriete Bundle!

For the flowers I used colours of the DSP sheet I had chosen, and I used another favourite bundle to make them!

De All Things Favourite Bundle, met de prachtige bloemen die je in stapjes/laagjes stempelt zodat je er de mooiste kleuren en combinaties mee kunt maken, voor meerkleurige bloemen in allerlei sferen en stijlen! Je kunt >HIER< meer voorbeelden zien met deze bloemen!

The All Things Favourite Bundle, with the beautiful flowers that are stamped in steps/layers, which makes it possible to give them the most gorgeous colours and combinations! With this Bundle it is possible to make all kinds of flowers in so many styles! You can see more possibilities with these flowers >HERE<!

De vloeiende vormen van de bloemen komen geweldig uit op de strakke lijnen van de driehoeken, vind ik!

I think the natural shapes of the flowers really stand out on the clean lines of the triangles!

 Overigens is de achtergrond van de kaart ook bewerkt, had je dat gezien? Ik heb deze voorzien van een structuurtje met de Tasteful Textile 3D embossingfolder, en daarna licht beinkt!

By the way, did you notice the background already? I added some structure to it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossingfolder, and inked it a bit!

 
De Butterfly Gems passen er perfect bij, en zijn een mooie subtiele versiering. Meer decoratie is niet nodig!

The Butterfly Gems are a perfect match with this card, and a nice, subtle way to decorate it. No more additions are needed!



De tekst komt ook uit de All Things Fabulous set. Met deze leuke tekst kan ik de kaart voor allerlei gelegenheden gebruiken!

The text is also from the All  Thing Fabulous Stampset. With this lovely text the card can be used for lots of occassions!



Deze keer heb ik dus weer lekker gemixed en nieuwe combinaties gemaakt. Ik houd daar van! Zo zie je ook weer hoe veelzijdig stempelen is met de materialen van Stampin'Up! Je kunt er zo heerlijk veel mee!

So for my project I mixed and matched several products! I LOVE it when things are so versatile! This shows how versatile and creative stamping is, and how beautiful the Stampin'Up!products are!

Thinking Outside Of The Box Bloghop: Snel en makkelijk: Enveloppevouw-doosjes! (met stap voor stap tutorial)

Het thema van deze maand is een envelop-vouw doosje. Dit type doosje is ook wel bekend onder de namen Origamibox, of Diaperfold Box. 

Theme of this month is a Folded Envelope Box, alsno known als a Origamibox, or Diaperfold Box

Het is echt supermakkelijk en snel te maken. Dat maakt dat je er makkelijk veel van kunt maken, OF dat je uit kunt leven op de decoratie er van! Maar wat ik daarnaast gedaan heb is het maken van een leuke variant op het doosje. Net zo makkelijk, maar superleuk om te maken EN te geven!

This box is SUPER$EASY and fast to make! Therefore it is easy to make many of them, OR it gives you extra time and opportunity to work on the decoration. I also made a special variation of the box. Just as easy as the "normal"version, but superfun to make, and great to present as a gift!

Mijn eerste voorbeeld en variant is dit Envelopfold doosje. Het is een soort doosje of tasje, waar je een leuk kleinigheidje in kunt stoppen, zoals hier een theetje en een chocolaadje. Echt een schattig hebbedingetje!

My first example is this envelop-like fold. It is a kind of puch or bag  for a small goodie, like a teabag and a chocolate, like I did here.

Als het leeg is kun je goed de vorm zien.

When it is empty you can see the shape of it.

Hoe maak je het doosje? How do we make it?

Neem een stuk designpapier van 6 x 6 inch ( of 15 x 15 cm) Neem het diagonaal voor je. 

Take a piece of Designer Series Papier, sized 6 x 6 inch, of 15x 15 cm. Lay is diagonally in front of you.

Ik gebruikte het prachtige nieuwe Garden Lane DSP. De mooie kleine motiefjes zijn supergeschikt!

I used the beautiful new Garden Lane DSP. The small designs work great for this!

Neem de onderste punt en vouw die nauwkeurig omhoog zodat de punt precies op de bovenste punt past. Er ontstaat dan een driehoek. Wrijf de vouw goed aan met de Bone Folder en doe dat ook bij alle volgende vouwen.

Now take the lowest point of the paper and fold it upwards to the upper point of the paper. We have a triangle now. Score the folds with a Bone Folder and repeat that at all the next steps too.

 Neem de punt rechtsonder en vouw die naar de linkerzijde zoals afgebeeld. Let er op dat van de bovenste driehoek die ontstaat, de aangegeven zijden even lang zijn.

Now take the lower right point of the paper and fold it to the left side as shown. Make sure the triangle at the top had two sides with the same length ( as pointed with the arrows)

Neem nu de punt links onder en vouw die naar de rechterzijde, zoals afgebeeld.

Now take the left point and fold it over to the right as shown.

Neem nu van de bovenste driehoek een laagje en vouw deze omlaag. Indien gewenst kun je deze nu vastplakken. Het doosje/tasje is nu klaar! Ja, dat was echt alles!

Now take one layer of the upper triangle and fold it down. If you want you can glue this flap. The box/pouch is ready now. Yes, it is that easy!

Ik maakte er ook een speciale variant op. Dit heeft een gave houder voor geld of een giftcard als resultaat!

I also made another version. This makes a nice wrap for money or a gift card!

 Het gaat op een heel speciale manier open!

It opens in a very special way!

Om deze giftwrap te maken, heb je twee basis Envelope fold doosjes nodig! De linker krijgt lijm op de bovenste driehoek aan de voorkant. Van de rechter leg je de achterkant naar je toe, en ook daar lijm je de bovenste driehoek. Kijk goed op de foto waar je je lijm aanbrengt.

To make the giftwrap you need two basic Envelope Fold boxes. The left one gets glue on the uppr triangle, the right on is turn backside up, and then also gets some glue at the upper triangle. Look closely to the picture to see where the glue is added!

 Het linker en rechterdoosje vouw je op deze manier in elkaar. Daarna druk je de doosjes goed aan. Ze zitten dan in elkaar vast. Je hebt nu van twee doosjes eentje gemaakt.

The left and richt box get folded together as shown on the pictures above. When the are folded together press the boxes so the glue makes good contact and the two boxes become one.

De achterkant ziet er zo uit!

This is how the backside looks now!

Om het doosje open te laten gaan knijp je de boven en onderpunt naar elkaar toe!

To open the box you have to pinch the upper and lower point of the box to eachother.

Maar nu is het tijd voor de decoratie!

And now it is time to decorate!

Ik stempelde en heatemboste afbeeldingen van de set  Bloom and Grow en heatemboste deze met Copper embossingpoeder. Daarna kleurde ik de afbeeldingen in met inkt en de aquapainter. Ik gebruikte diverse groentinten hiervoor die bij het DSP passen. Daarna stanste ik de bloemen uit met de bijpassende dies.

I stamped and heatembossed some flowery images from the stampset Bloom and Grow, heatembossed them with Copper Embossingpowder and watercolored them with ink and an aquapainter. I used different shades of green that match the DSP. After that I diecut the flowers with the matching dies.

Op het dubbele doosje moet de afbeelding uiteraard in twee delen gesneden worden om het doosje open te laten gaan!

On the double box ofcourse the image has to be cut in half to make it possible to open the box.

Door de vouwen ontstaan aan de zijkanten extra "pockets"waar je bijvoorbeeld een klein label in kunt doen, met een gestempelde of handgeschreven tekst!

Because of the folds you have some extra pockets on the sides of the double box. I used this to ad a tag in it, on which you can add a stamed or handwritten text!

Ik hoop dat je beide versies eens gaat uitproberen! Het is echt leuk om te maken!
