Welcome to this Bloghop of the International Totally Technique Designteam! This month we have chosen another fun technique again and together we will show you several examples of it! Happy to see you here!
Deze maand is het thema Layering Stencils! Oftewel, het stapelen van stencils/sjablonen.
This month our theme is Layering Stencils!
Een echte uitdaging, maar daardoor alleen maar extra leuk!
A true challenge, but that only adds to the fun!
Stencils stapelen geeft zo veel creatieve mogelijkheden! En om het nog leuker te maken moet je dit eens proberen: Je eigen stencils maken, zoals ik hier deed!
Layering Stencils gives so many creative possibilities! And to make it even more fun try this: Make your own stencils, as I did here!!
Ik nam een stuk Transparant Sheet, een grote labelstans uit de set Simply Beautiful, en stanste de mooie vorm uit het stuk sheet! Stencil nummer 1 was klaar voor gebruik!
I took some Window Sheet, a big die from the Simply Beautiful Dies, and diecut the shape from the Window Sheet! And stencil number one was ready!
Ik legde het stencil op Basic Beige cardstock en bracht met een Blending Brush aan de randen Pecan Pie inkt aan.
I positioned the stencil on some Basic Beige cardstock and applied some Pecan Pie ink from the edges inwards with a Blending Brush.
Stencil nummer 2 had ik al in mijn restjesbakje liggen. Het was namelijk het overblijfsel van het uitstansen van lettertjes met de Minialfabetstansen!
Stencil number 2 was already in my stash! It were the leftover scraps from diecutting letters with the Mini Alphabet Dies!
Met het eerste stencil nog steeds op z'n plek legde ik het tweede stencil er overheen en door de openingen bracht ik wederom inkt aan met een Blending Brush. Nu in de kleur Calypso Coral. En klaar is mijn Layered Stencils achtergrond!
With the first stencil still on its original place I placed the second stencil on top of it. Through the openings again I added ink with a Blending Brush, now in the colour Calypso Coral. And now the Layered Stencil background is finished!
Je kunt natuurlijk altijd het eerste stencil even terugleggen en door de opening wat stempelen, of de uiterste randjes wat extra aanzetten met Early Espresso, zoals ik hier bijvoorbeeld deed.
You can always keep adding by placing back the first stencil and stamp through the opening, or add some more colour at the edges, like I did here with Early Espresso.
Deze techniek gaf mij een mooi frame om mijn bloemencompositie in te plaatsen!
This technique gave me a nice frame to place my flowery composition!
Voor deze bloementoef combineerde ik met de sets Simply Beautiful en Beautifully Celebrated!
For these flowers I combined the sets Simply Beautiful en Beautifully Celebrated!
De bloemen en bladeren kleurde ik met Stampin'Blends!
The flowers and leaves were coloured with Stampin'Blends!
Wat ragfijne takjes stempelde ik direct op de achtergrond.
Some refined branches were stamped directly on the background.
Tussen de bloemen kwam een zwierige strik die ik maakte met het Crumb Cake Bakerstwine uit het pakje Basisset Bakkerstouw.
Between the flowers I added a loose bow, made with the Crumb Cake Bakerstwine from the Bakerstwine Essentials Pack.
De tekst knipte ik losjes uit...
I fussy cut the text...
Om het af te maken voegde ik wat transparante dotjes met goudvlokjes er in toe.
To finish it off I added some transparant dots with little gold flakes.
Alle kleuren komen natuurlijk weer ergens terug om eenheid te krijgen.
All colours are used again and again to get some lovely unity.
