Vintage Bloemenkaart in collagestijl! - Stamp 'n Hop Bloghop - Vintage

Deze maand hebben we als thema Vintage!!

This month we have a fun theme: Vintage!

Vintage is echt een thema, en stijl, waar ik van houd!

Vintage is really a style that I love!

Deze stijl doet denken aan vervlogen en kenmerkt zich door matte kleuren, een nostalgisch thema, versleten of verweerde elementen, en veel details!

This style reminds of times that have passed long time ago, and is known for the muted colours, the nostalgic theme, the distressed or well used look, and lots of details!

En ja, ik kom er ronduit voor uit, ik ging lekker los bij het maken van deze kaart!

And yes, I know and I confess... I went a bit overboard while making this card!

De set die ik vandaag gebruikte is Textured Floral... een prachtige, romantische bloemenset, met watercolour effect. Daarbij zijn ook bijpassende stansen die de gestempelde afbeeldingen uitstansen, maar ook bevat de set stansen diverse extraatjes, om de bloemen nog verder aan te vullen!

The set I used today is Textured Floral, a beautiful romantic flowerset, with watercolour effect. There are also matching dies that diecut the stamped images, but the set also contains some extra's to provide extra possibilities to add to the flowerarrangements.

Ik begon natuurlijk met een passende achtergrond, waarin ik diverse kleuren inkt gebruikte die samen een fraai vintage gevoel geven"Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie, Moody Mauve en Pebbled Path. Van dit paneel inkte ik de randjes en frommelde deze een beetje totdat deze een ietsje gingen krullen. Hierover kwam het centrale paneel waaronder ik een stukje Vellum Cardstock toevoegde, waarvan ik de randjes lichtelijk beinkte.

Ofcourse I started with a matching background for which I used several ink colours that give a lovely vintage mood together. Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie, Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path. I inked the idged and crumpled them a bit so they started looking a bit old and worn. On top of this I added a central panel backed with a piece of Vellum Cardstock of which I coloured the edges a bit.

Het centrale paneel is grotendeels verstopt onder de bloemen, maar vergis je niet... juist als je nog maar kleine stukjes ziet, is het belangrijk dat die stukjes een beetje interessant zijn! Ik emboste dit paneel dan ook met de Exposed Brick 3 D embossingfolder, die in het Nederlands "Oude Bakstenen Muur"genoemd wordt. Ook hier inkte ik de randjes weer een beetje! Leuk detail is dat ik hier de baksteentjes verticaal gebruikte zodat het motief totaal anders overkomt!

The central panel is mostly covered b all the flowers, but don't underestimate the effect of making that panel a bit interesting nevertheless! In this case I embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3d Embossingfolder. And ofcourse I inked the edges of this panel again! A fun detail is that I used the bricks vertically, which gives this embossingfolder a totally different look!

Op het centrale paneel, maar ook hier en daar tussen de laagjes, voegde ik diverse labeltjes toe. Deze stanste ik met de Something Fancy Dies. oftewel de Echt Iets Bijzonders stansset! Deze beinkte ik weer, maar bestempelde ik ook met de spettertjesstempel uit de TExtured Floral set!

On the central panel, but also tucked betweeen all the layers, I added several labels, that I had diecut with the Something Fancy Dies. I inked the labels but also stamped them with the splatterstap from the Textured Floral Set!

Ik stempelde en stanste een hele berg bloemen, blaadjes en takjes in weer de zelfde kleuren, en verwerkte die bovenop het centrale paneel, maar ook hier en daar tussen de laagjes. Zo krijg je een leuke, gelaagde collagelook!

I stamped and diecut a pile of the flowers, leaves, and branches, and used them on the central panel, but also on a number of spots between the layers. This gives a lovely, layered Collagelook!

De tekst stempelde ik en knipte ik in stukjes uit, waarna ik ze speels over de kaart verdeelde.

The text was stamped and then fussycut in pieces, so I could spread them a bit on my card.

Natuurlijk hoort er ook een dosis decoratie bij zo'n vintage stijl kaart! Ik gebruikte het Golfjessierband, the Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems en het naturelkleurige lint uit het Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack! De lintjes rafelde ik lekker een beetje uit.

Een kaart is immers niet compleet zonder net dat kleine beetje extra!

Ofcourse the card needed that little bit of Embellishing! I used the Wavy Trim and the natural Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack and frayed them both! Some Adhesive backed Sparkle Gems finish it off!

After all a card is not complete without embellishments!
