Deze keer, en hoe kan het ook anders op deze 31ste oktober, is ons thema Herfst/Halloween!
This time, and what else could it be on this 31st of october, our theme is Autumn/Halloween!

Ik koos voor het herfst thema, en voor een van de mooiste dingen die je in de herfst kunt doen: Een heerlijk stuk wandelen, en genieten van de prachtige herfstkleuren!
I chose for the autumn theme and for one of the best things to do during this period: Taking a walk in the woods, and enjoying all the beautiful autumnal colours!

En die wandeling werd dan ook mijn inspiratie voor deze kaart!
And that walk became the inspiration to make this card!

Een beetje ruig en rustiek want dat hoort bij de herfst!
A little grungy and rustic, since that is the style of autumn!
De set die ik vandaag gebruikte is Perched in a Tree! Een prachtige natuurlijke stempelset die het hele jaar door te gebruiken is! Maar wat de set nog veel mooier maakt zijn de prachtige bijpassende stansen, de Aspen Trees Dies. Samen met de stempels zijn deze ook als voordeelpakket te bestellen. Je vindt ze in de huidige Mini Catalogus!
The set I used today is Perched in a Tree! A beautiful natural stampset that can be used all trough the year! But what makes the set even more beautiful is the matching diesset: The Aspen Trees Dies! Stamps and dies can also be ordered as a bundle, and you can find them in our current Mini Catalog!

Ik begon met een achtergrond, een stukje Shimmery White cardstock waarop ik met de Water Painters diverse kleuren inkt aanbracht. Ik liet de kleuren lekker een beetje in elkaar overvloeien. Daar overheen kwam het paneel in Crumb Cake waar ik de prachtige ovalen stans voor gebruikte. Door dit paneel verhoogd op te plakken met Dimensionals verkreeg ik een leuk diepte effect.
I started with a background of himmery White Cardstock on which I added several inks with a Water Painter. I allowed the colours to flow a bit. On top of that came the Layer of Crumb Cake Cardstock on which I used the big oval die. By adhering the Panel with Dimensionals I got a nice depth effect!

Daarna was het tijd om dit geheel verder op te bouwen!
Then it was time to build further on the scene!

Het vogeltje stempelde ik, en kleurde ik eveneens met inkten en de Water Painters. Daarna bracht ik wat extra accenten aan met de Watercolor Pencils. Als laatste voegde ik een glanslaagje toe met de Wink of Stella Glitterbrush, en stanste ik het beestje uit!
The bird was stamped and was coloured with inks and Water Painters as well. After that I added some accents with the Watercolor Pencils. Last steps were adding sime shimmer with a Wink of Stella Glitterbrush, and diecutting the little animal.

Met de stansen uit de set stanste ik ook een aantal blaadjes uit. Deze krijgen bij het stansen meteen mooie nerven mee. Bij het kleuren van de bladeren, ook weer met de Water Painters en inkt worden deze nog mooier zichtbaar! Om de blaadjes een nog levendiger effect te geven bracht ik subtiele accenten aan met Kopen Embossingpoeder. Hiervoor gebruikte ik een van de gave structuurstempels uit de set! Het koperen glansje laat de bladeren er nog meer "crispy" en realistisch uitzien!
With the dies from the set I also diecut some leaves. These got their nice lines white diecutting! While colouring the leaves, again with ink and Water Painters the lines became even more visible. To give the leaves an even more vivid effect I added little Copper Details with Embossingpowder. I used one of the gorgeous structurestamps from the set to do that! The copper speckling makes the leaves look a bit "crispy"and realistic!

The splatterstamp from the set was used on the corners of the top panel!

Beetje bij beetje onstond zo een lekker herfstig tafereel!

De tekst zorgt voor wat extra contrast. Ik stempelde en heatemboste deze in wit op een stukje Early Espresso Cardstock.
The text provides a bit of contrast. I Heat embossed it in white on a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock.

Wat Linen Thread zorgt voor wat extra structuur, wat Brushed Metallic Dots laten het koper mooi terugkomen en de Early Espresso basiskaart zorgen voor een mooie strakke contrastrijke omlijsting.
Some Linen Thread gives some extra structure, some Brushed Metallic Dots makes the copper elements come back, and the Early Espresso cardbase provides a nice, clean contrasting frame.
