Clean and simple kerstkaarten - Stamp 'n Hop Bloghop - Simple Stamping

Leuk dat je langskomt bij de Kijkkast! Ook deze maand voorziet het

Deze maand is het de bedoeling om julllie allerlei projecten met nieuwe producten te laten zien! Dat is altijd een toffe opdracht, want er is volop moois bijgekomen de laatste tijd!

This month we will show you all kind of projects made with new products! Always a nice thing to do, especially now that there are so many gorgeous new items!

Deze maand laten we zien hoe mooi eenvoud kan zijn! De opdracht is Simple Stamping, en we gebruiken alleen stempels, inkt, en papier. Als decoratie mag je wat lint gebruiken en als gereedschap is een pons toegestaan.

This month we will show the beauty of simplicity! The theme is Simple Stamping, and so we only use paper, stamps and ink. Some ribbon to embellish is allowed, and the only tool we can use is a punch!

Dus dat is precies wat ik heb gedaan. Deze kaart is verbazend makkelijk om te maken, en ziet er toch "compleet" uit! Met de juiste combinaties heb je ook niet perse veel nodig!

So that is exactly what I have done. This card is amazingly easy to make, and still looks "complete" enough. That proves that with the right combination you don't always need a lot!

De set Peaceful Deer is een ontzettend leuke set om lieve kerstkaarten mee te maken. Want wie houd er nu niet van lieve hertjes!

The set Peaceful Deer is a fantastic set to make sweet Christmascards! After all everybody like those cute animals!

En de set bevat alle elementen om een leuk kerstig tafereeltje te maken!

And the set has all the elements to build a lovely Christmassy scene!

De achtergrond maakte ik in drie stappen. Eerst stempelde ik de bomen in de middenmaat links en rechts met Soft Succulent. Daarna stempelde ik de kleine boompjes iets hoger, met Soft Succulent inkt, die ik nu eerst afstempelde op een kladpapiertje. En als derde stempelde ik de grootste bomen met Evening Evergreen, net iets lager. Zo krijg je meteen een winters landschapje met een gevoel van diepte.

The background was mad in three main steps. First I stamped the medium sized trees in the left and right in Soft Succulent Ink. Then I stamped the smallest trees, a tiny bit higher, with Soft Succulent Ink, that I first stamped of on a scrap piece of paper. As a third step I stamped the biggest trees in Evening Evergreen, a bit lower. That way you get a wintery scene with a sense of depth.

Boven de bomen stempelde ik wat sterretjes in Balmy Blue. Daarna bracht ik het prachtige lint aan, en legde hier een sierknoop in. De mooie kleur Soft Succulent van het lint laat het mooi samenvloeien met de bomen, waardoor het niet de boventoon voert.

Above the trees I stamped some stars in Balmy Blue. Then I added the gorgeous ribbon, and tied it in a decorative knot. The beautiful colour Soft Succulent of the ribbon blends beautifully with the trees, that way the ribbon is not too overwhelming in the overall look.

Het hert stempelde ik in Crumb Cake en ponste ik uit met de bijpassende Deer Builder pons. Met Dimensionals plakte ik het hert over het lint heen.

The deer was stamped in Crumb Cake and was punched with the Deer Builder Punch. With Dimensionals is was adhered over the ribbon.

De witte ruimte onderaan en bovenaan de kaart geven een mooie verhouding. Ik gebruikte hier de ruimte onderaan om de tekst te stempelen. Ik voegde hiervoor twee teksten uit de set samen.

The white space in the top and bottom of the card add up to the clean look of the card. Here I used the lover space to stamp the text. In this case I combined two texts from the set.
