Deze keer gaan we aan de slag met Sale-A-Brationproducten EN we gaan er een passende enveloppe bij maken!
This time we will work with Sale-A-Brationproduct AND we will add a matching envelope!
De set die ik vandaag gebruikte is Scenic Garden, een heerlijke set met prachtige afbeeldingen die doen denken aan een overvloeding bloeiende lentetuin!
The set that I used today is Scenic Garden, a gorgeous set with beautiful images that remind us of an abuntdantly flourishing springgarden!
Deze set heeft een speciaal plekje in het Sale-A-Brationaanbod, want het is een Host set. Deze set krijg je namelijk kado bij een gezamelijke, of individuele bestelling vanaf 375 euro. Deze keer heb ik de afbeeldingen ge-heatembossed in wit, op Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Deze zachte kleur cardstock geeft meteen een zachte lentesfeer aan de kaart!
This time I heatembossed the images in white on Soft Sea Foam cardstock. This subtle cardstockcolour instantly gives the soft springathmosphere to the card!
De afbeeldingen kleurde ik in met inkt en Blenderpens! Dit deed ik op een manier die een watercolourachtig effect geeft, voor een losse, natuurlijke look.
The images were coloured with ink and Blenderpens. I did this in a way that made it look a bit like watercolour... a bit loose and natural.

Er zijn vele technieken om mee te kleuren, en deze laat ik ook regelmatig zien in de Kijkkast Workshops. Heb je al gezien dat het workshopprogramma enorm is aangevuld?
There are many techniques to colour, and I often show and teach them in the Kijkkast Workshops. Have you already seen how many new workshops are coming?

Om een leuk diepteeffect te creeeren, voegde ik een aantal extra losse afbeeldingen toe, die ik aan de zijkanten van het bankjestafereel verwerkte. Je krijgt hierdoor een soort sfeervol doorkijkje.
To create a feeling of depth I added some extra images that were adhered at the sides of the bench image. It looks more like a peek into a hidden corner of the garden.

Natuurlijk wilde ik ook een tekst toevoegen, en ik vond een mooie passende in de set Sending Support. Ook dit is een Sale-A-Brationkado, je kunt deze set namelijk uitkiezen bij een bestelling vanaf 60 euro. Een mooie tekst, met een lieve boodschap. Ik stanste deze uit met de Stylish Shapes Dies, en plakte deze precies op de hoek van het verhoogde grote paneel. Net weer eens iets anders, om de tekst zo te verwerken.
Ofcourse I wanted to add a text too and I found this fitting one in the set Sending Support. This set is also a Sale-A-Brationfift, that can be chosed with a 60 euros order. A lovely text with a friendly, caring meaning. I diecut it with the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it exactly on the corner of the raised panel. Just a different way to add a sentiment, and I like doing that.

Natuurlijk is het leuk om een bestaande envelope te gebruiken en deze te decoreren, maar waarom zou ik er niet eentje zelf maken?
Ofcourse it is nice to use a ready made envelope and then decorate it, but I thought this time: why would I not make one myself!?

Daarom maakte ik een mooie enveloppee van Soft Sea Foam cardstock! De Very Best Trio pons was hierbij weer ideaal om de enveloppe een mooie afwerking te geven.
That is why I made one of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock! The Very Best Trio Punch was used to give the envelope a nice finished look!

De afbeelding komt hier weer terug. Opnieuw heat emboste, kleurde, inkte en stempelde ik subtiel in de achtergrond, net als op de kaart.
The same image is used on it again. I heat embossed, coloured inked and stamped it very lightly in the background, just like I had done on my card.

Het is altijd leuk als je door de envelope al een voorproefje krijgt van wat er na het openen te wachten staat!
It is always nice when the envelope give a glimpse of what is awaiting you when you open it!

Al met al heeft de kaart een lieve uitstraling gekregen, met een beetje "grunge" maar natuurlijk kun je de stempelset allerlei sferen meegeven. Zo leuk om daar mee te varieren en experimenteren!
All together the set got a sweet look, with a little "grunge", but ofcourse you can give these images all kind of looks. It is fun experimenting and trying different options!
Ik hoop dat je door mijn voorbeeld alvast wat inspiratie opgedaan hebt, en dat ik heb laten zien hoe prachtig deze set Scenic Garden is!
