Some Messy Garden fun - Stamping with Friends Bloghop - Product of the Month

Welkom bij deze Stamping with Friends Bloghop! In deze bloghop krijg je wat verse stempelinspiratie van over de hele wereld! Uiteindelijk is dat een van de mooie kanten van deze fantastische hobby: De contacten en vriendschappen die je er door opdoet! afstanden en grenzen spelen hier geen rol!

We gaan deze keer weer werken met het Product van de Maand!

This time we will work with the Product of the Month again!

Elke maand een nieuw Product van de Maand beschikbaar! Een exclusief item dat alleen als extra product besteld kan worden, bij een minimaal bestelbedrag van 90 euro. Het product kun je dan voor slechts 6 euro kopen. Je kunt maximaal 1 van elk product per persoon kopen, en de items zijn verkrijgbaar zolang de voorraad strekt! Is het Product van een vorige maand nog beschikbaar, en had je deze nog niet eerder besteld, kun je ook daarvoor kiezen.

Each month a new Product of the Month is launched. It is always an exclusive item that can only be ordered as an extra product with an order of at least 90 euros. You can order this product for only six euros. There is one of each Product of the Month available for each person, and they are available as supplies last. When the Product of a past month is still available, and you have not ordered that product yet,you can still choose that product.

In dit geval gebruikte ik het Product van de maand februari, het prachtige designpapier, waarvan ik op deze kaart twee prints combineerde!

I this case I used the product of the month Februari, this lovely DSP of which I used two designs on this card!

Het is het Painted Illusions DSP! Het heeft een prachtige watercolourachtige look, mooie kleuren en verschillende witte patronen.

Het swirlachtige motief gebruikte ik op de achtergrond, en het tegelachtige motief gebruikte ik voor de postzegels die ik had uitgestanst met de Volop Post stansen. De "stempelstans" gebruikte ik om de postzegels er net nog wat echter uit te laten zien.

The Swirllike pattern was used for the background, and the tile like pattern was used the cover the postage stamps that I had diecut with the Perennial Postage dies. The stamp die was used to give the Postage stamps a realistic, stamped look!

Dit gaf me een leuke groenblauwe basis om op verder te bouwen...

This gave me a nice green/blue baseto work on!

Ik besloot voor het "tuinier thema" te gaan, dus ik pakte de set Help me Grow er bij! Een gave nieuwe Online Only set!

I decided to go for the "Gardening theme",so I went to work with Help me Grow, a very cool new Online Exclusive set!

Ik stempelde en stanste dus wat tuingereedschap! Goh, dat ziet er cool uit!

I stamped and diecut some gardening tools! Wow, that looks rather cool!

Vervolgens voegde ik een potplant toe... En hier kun je meteen weer zien hoe slim de set ontworpen is... In de pot stans je meteen een sleufje, waar je de plant in kunt schuiven, zodat hij echt IN de pot groeit. Datzelfde zie je ook bij de schotel waar de pot in staat.

Then I added a potted plant... And here again you can see the clever design of this set.... There is a small slit at the top of the pot, in which you can slide the plant, to make it look like it is actually growing in the pot. Same goed for the flat plate under the pot.

En deze voorzag ik van een plantensteker, en als laatste werkte ik de pot af met een Bakerstwine strikje

A Plantpin was added, and finally a little bow made with Bakerstwine...

En ik voegde een tekst toe... alles plaatste ik lekker losjes, ietwat rommelig, en speels bij elkaar. Daar had ik zin in!

And I added a sentiment... All elements were put together in a playful, slightly messy, fun way. I was in the mood for that!

Ik houd van de kleuren, en de combinatie van het designpapier en het tuinierthema!

I love the colours, and the combination of the DSP and the Gardening theme!

Kaart voor mijn jarige zoon - Stamping with Friends Bloghop - Masculin Cards

We gaan jullie deze maand Mannelijke kaarten laten zien!

This time we will show you masculine cards!

En toevallig heb ik er pas nog twee gemaakt, omdat we begin februari twee jarige zoons hadden!

And I happen to havemade two recently, since we had two sons celebrating their birthdays earlier this month!

Ik vind het altijd leuk om ze een kaart te geven die helemaal op hen is afgestemd! Dit werd de kaart voor onze zoon die 27 is geworden.

I always like giving them cards that are made based on who they are and what they like. This card was made for the oldest, that celebrated his 27th birthday.

Zijn naam is Aram en blauw-groen is zijn lievelingskleur! Hij heeft ook enorm veel interesses en hobbies, zoals geologie, kristallen en stenen, om er maar eens een paar te noemen. In deze kaart heb ik geprobeerd zijn lievelingskleuren te combineren met het verzamelen van mooie stenen en kristallen. Hij houdt ook van grafische patronen en strakke lijnen dus ook dat wilde ik laten terugkomen.

His name is Aram and blueish green is his favourite colour, and he has a lot of hobbies, like geology, crystals, stones and gems, to name just a few. In this card I have tried to represent his favourite colours, and his collection of stones and crystals. He also likes geomatric shapes and patterns, and clean lines so I also wanted to incorporate that in the design.

Ik stanste drie grote, en twee kleine kristalachtige vierhoeken uit met de stansset, in de kleuren Pretty Peacock en Pool Party!

I Diecut three big and two small diamondlike shapes with the dies set, in the colours Pretty Peacock and Pool Party!

De achtergrond maakte ik door de diverse structuur stempels uit de set af te drukken in die zelfde kleuren!

The background was made by stamping some of the texture stamps from the set in the same two colours!

Daar overheen stempelde ik de ruitjesstructuur, die ik vervolgens in zilver emboste. Dit staat prachtig bij de kleuren en geeft de benodigde subtiele edelsteenglans!

On top of that I stamped the lattice squares which I heat embossed in silver. This is a great combination with the two colours, and it gives a subtle portion of shine.

Als decoratie kwamen er hier en daar een paar uitgestanste sterretjes, die ik in groepjes over de kaart verspreidde. Als extraatje plakte ik bij elk groepje zo'n prachtig Facetsneeuwvlokje. Hij ziet er hier uit als een prachtig sterretje, en doet natuurlijk ook weer denken aan edelstenen. De Facetsneeuwvlokjes zijn een Laatste Kans product en nu met korting te bestellen!

As a decoration I added some diecut stars, spread over the card in little groups. As an extra detail each group got a beautiful Facet Snowflake. It looks like a star in this setting, and ofcourse it also reminds us of gems and crystals! The Snowflake are a Last Chance product and can now be ordered for a reduced price.

De grote tekst heat emboste ik ook, nu in wit, op Pretty Peacock cardstock. De kleine tekst stempelde ik simpelweg op een strookje Pool Party cardstock.

The big text was heat embossed as well, in white, on Pretty Peacock cardstock. The smaller text was simply stamped on a strip of Pool Party cardstock.

Beide teksten komen uit deze set Fabulous Sayings, het product van de maand Januari, dat nog steeds te verkrijgen is. Je kunt deze set voor slechts 6 euro bestellen bij een bestelling vanaf 90 euro. Je ziet mij deze tekst heel vaak gebruiken, ik vind hem geweldig en heel bruikaar!

Ik zag de ogen van onze zoon oplichten toen hij de kaart zag, dus ik denk wel dat mijn poging geslaagd was! Hoe leuk is het als je kinderen al uitkijken naar wat voor kaart ik deze keer weer gemaakt zal hebben, in de wetenschap dat ik deze speciaal op hen heb afgestemd! Heel kostbaar! En uiteraard zijn mijn kaarten voor hen altijd met heel veel liefde gemaakt.

I saw the eyes of our son lighting up when he saw the card, so I think it was a good try! How fun it is that our children always look forward to seeing what kind of card I made this time, knowing that it was made especially for that day, with them in mind. So precious! and ofcourse my cards are always made with love!
