De eerste van dit jaar.... Stampin' for Christmas Bloghop

Hallo en welkom bij deze Stampin' For Christmas Bloghop!

Je bent nu in Nederland aangekomen, Mijn naam is Annette Elias, van de Kijkkast!

Waarom maken we het onszelf zo moeilijk, en waarom zouden we alleen vlak voor de kerst kerstkaarten maken... als dat ook verspreid door het hele jaar kan!

Daarom doe ik graag mee met deze bloghop.... Er is immers genoeg te vinden in de jaarcatalogus waarmee je ook nu bezig kunt zijn met je kerstkaarten! Ik vind het een gave uitdaging!

Why would we only make Christmascards when it comes close to Christmasday.... When we can also spread the fun over the whole year. That is why I love participating in this Hop. There are enough products available right now to start making cards rightaway. I think it is a nice challenge!

En deze kerstkaart is meteen de eerste van dit jaar!

And this Christmas is my first of this year!

Een kaart met een Shabby Chic look, en een klassiek thema.

A card with a Shabby Chic look and a classic theme!

Hiervoor gebruikte ik producten uit de jaarcatalogus, en uit de voorjaars-mini-catalogus!

I used products from the annual catalog and from our current Mini catalog to make it!

De mand vol kerstrozen stempelde en stanste ik met de Season's Blessings stempelset en de bijpassende Seasonal Basket Dies. Deze set is te vinden in de jaarcatalogus, en is geschikt om het hele jaar rond, in alle seizoenen, te gebruiken! Is ie niet prachtig?

The basket filled with Poinsettia's was stamped and diecut with the stampset Season's Blessings and the matching Seasonal Basket Dies. This set can be found in our Annual Catalog, and is designed to be used through all seasons of the year! Isn't it pretty?

Hier zie je goed de prachtig ontworpen bloemen en bladeren! Hier en daar zette ik de randjes iets aan met een Sponge Dauber en inkt! Ook krulde ik de randjes iets op.

Here you can see the lovely designed flowers and leaves! On some spots I added some ink with a Spnonge Dauber! I also curled up the edges a bit.

Ook de bewerkte achtergrond draagt bij aan de sfeer van deze kaart!

Also the detailed background plays a big role in the look of this card!

Hiervoor gebruikte ik de nieuwe Embossingfolder met de naam Gingham, oftewel blokruit.

Deze is te vinden in onze nieuwe Mini Catalogus. Ik ben DOL op ruitjes! Die kunnen altijd!

For this I used the new Embossingfolder Gingham.

This folder is in our new Mini Catalog. I just love Gingham, it matches with everything!

Ik emboste een stuk Real Red Cardstock en emboste dit. Daarna ging ik er overheen met Cherry Bobbler inkt, waardoor de hoger gelegen delen iets donkerder werden.

I embossed a piece of Real REd cardstock and embossed it. Then I touched the surface with Cherry Cobbler ink so it only coloured the higher parts of the design.

Aan de randjes en midden in de bloemen voegde ik wat goud toe met Versamark Inkt en Goud embossingpoeder. Lekker een beetje losjes en onregelmatig om zo de Shabby Chic look te versterken.

On the edges and in the flowercentres I added some gold with Versamark ink and Gold Embossingpowder. A bit messy, and imperfect, to stay close to the shabby Chic look.

Doordat de decoratie, het rode lint en de Metallic Pearls, zo bij de kleuren passen voegen ze goed bij de kaart en overheersen ze niet, maar voegen ze wel de details toe die ik altijd zo leuk vind.

By keeping the embellishment, the red ribbon and the Metallic Pearls in the same colours they blend perfectly with the card and are not overwhelming but they still add that sense of detail that I love!

En zo is mijn eerste kerstkaart van 2022 een feit!

And that is how my first Christmascard of 2022 was made

Modern Style Christmas Card! - Stampin' For Christmas Bloghop

Waarom maken we het onszelf zo moeilijk, en waarom zouden we alleen vlak voor de kerst kerstkaarten maken... als dat ook verspreid door het hele jaar kan!

Daarom doe ik graag mee met deze bloghop.... Er is immers genoeg te vinden in de jaarcatalogus waarmee je ook nu bezig kunt zijn met je kerstkaarten! Ik vind het een gave uitdaging!

Deze maand koos ik voor een kaart met klassieke elementen, maar ik een modern jasje!

This month I chose to make a card with classic elements, but then in a modern way!

In de jaarcatalogus staat deze superleuk vormgegeven set Season's Blessings, met bijpassende Seasonal Basket Dies, die apart, maar ook samen als pakket verkrijgbaar zijn.

De set is het hele jaar door te gebruiken door de veelzijdige elementen die er in zitten. De algehele look van de set is helemaal hip! De vormgeving van de stempels is speels en modern en de stansen zijn geweldig!

In the Annual Catalog is this superfun designed set Season's Blessings, with the matching Seasonal Basket Dies, that can be purchased seperatedly or as a bundle.

This set can be used all year long, since there are so many versatile elements in the set. The allover look is so fresh and on trend! The design is playfull and modern, and look at those gorgeous dies!

Natuurlijk gebruikte ik voor deze kerstkaart de Poinsettia/kerstroos stempels, die in twee maten in de set zitten. Ook zitten er allerlei blaadjes bij. Dit maakt het heel makkelijk om er een leuke schikking mee te maken! Hier ging ik voor lekker vol en een tikkeltje onstuimig, omdat ik de rest van de kaart rustig zou houden.

Ofcourse, for his Christmascard I used the Poinsettia's from the set, which are there in two sizes. There are also many leaves, so it is very easy to make a nice composition. In this case I went for a playful and full filled basket because I was going to leave the rest of the card rather clean.

Het leuke is dat ik dus GEEN kerstpapier gebruikt heb voor mijn kaart, maar het hippe Bloom Where You're Planted DSP. Hier zitten ook hele moderne neutrale printjes bij!

Fun fact is that I did not use any Christmas DSP for my card, but the trendy Bloom Where You're Planted DSP. In this set are lots of cool neutral patterns!

Hier nam ik dus als achtergrond de stoere betonprint, en voor het strookje een mooie blaadjesprint.

In this case I used the cool concrete print as a background and for the strip I used a nice leavy pattern.

Acvhter mijn bloemenmand voegde ik nog kleur toe met de Plenty Of Patterns Decorative Masks en de Blending Brushes.

Behind my filled basket I added some color with the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes.

Voor net een klein beetje "Bling"voegde ik in de bloemen wat Red Shinestones toe, en voor wat extra structuur een strikje, dat ik maakte met een dubbel stukje Linen Thread.

For just that little amount of "Bling" I added some Red Rhinestones to the flowers, and I gave the Basket a little more structure with a little bow, made of a double piece of Linen Thread.

Door de randjes van de bloemen en blaadjes iets op te laten krullen maak je net nog wat meer structuur en diepte aan het geheel.

By folding up the edges of the leaves and the flowers, you can add some extra structure and dimension to the arrangement too!

De lay out van mijn kaart van deze kaart was weer een leuke uitdaging van Global Design Project.

The Lay Out of my card was another fun challenge of Global Design Project.

Ik vond het echt superleuk om deze kaart te maken, en weet zeker dat er met deze set nog heel veel projecten gemaakt gaan worden. En.... het is heerlijk om alvast weer een kerstkaart aan mijn voorraad toe te kunnen voegen!

I really enjoyed making this card and I am sure many projects with this set will follow! And.... It is great to have another addition to my growing stack of already made Christmascards!
