Romantische bloemenkaart - New At Su bloghop - Follow the Sketch

Deze maand werken we met een schets, en dat is er eentje uit de komende Mini Catalogus!

This month we are working with a sketch, one from the new Mini Catalog!

Een schets volgen geeft altijd een mooie boost aan je creativiteit!

De verticale baan op de kaart en het rechthoekige centrale paneel maakte ik met het prachtige Brushed With Beauty DSP!

The vertical strip on the card, and the small rectangular panel were made with this gorgeous Brushed with Beauty DSP!

Dit geeft een mooie basis om op verder te werken!

This provides a nice base to work on!

De onderliggende laag kreeg een mooie structuur met de Beautiful Pattern Embossingfolder!

The underlaying layer got some lovely structure with the Beautiful Pattern Embossingfolder!

Op de schets zien we twee ietsje schuin geplaatste rechthoeken op en onder het centrale paneel. Die heb ik hier vertaald in romantische bloemen.

On the sketch we can see two slightly tilted rectangles on and under the central panel. I translated these in some romantic flowers!

Deze stempelde, en stanste ik, met de geweldige set Petals of Beauty! Je kunt hier werkelijk de prachtigste gelaagde, artistieke bloemen mee maken! Ze hebben een prachtige handgeschilderde look!

These were stamped, and diecut, with the gorgeous set Petals of Beauty! You canmake the most beautiful layered, artistic flowers with this set! They have such a pretty handpainted look!

Het is een two step stempelset en de detaillaagjes zijn net niet helemaal passend, waardoor je die toffe artsy look krijgt.

It is a twostep stampset and the detailed layers are slightly offset to get that artsy look!

De tekst stempel en het label komen uit deze geweldige set Words of Beauty!

The text stamp and the label die are from this gorgeous set Words of Beauty!

Als afwerking voegde ik wat van deze Pearls of Beauty parels toe, en doordat ik voor de kleur Crumb Cake koos komt de kleur van het DSP hier weer mooi terug.

As a finishing touch I added some of these Pearls of Beauty! The color of them, Crumb Cake, refelcts the colour of the background in a lovely way.

De laagjes van de schets komen zo mooi allemaal terug. Het was een heerlijk startpunt!

The layers of the sketch are all added to this card. The sketch was a great starting point!

De stempels de stansen, het designpapier, de embossingfolder, de embellishments komen allen uit deze geweldige Brushed with Beauty collectie! Deze nieuwe collectie is te vinden bij de Online Only producten!

Geinspireerd door de natuur - Stampers Showcase Bloghop - July Dec Catalog Sneak Peek

Welkom bij de Stampers Showcase Bloghop! Vandaag maken we weer een "reisje over de wereld" om allerlei leuke stempelprojecten te gaan zien! Je bent nu in Nederland, bij Annette Elias, van de Kijkkast. Leuk dat je er bent!

Welcome to this Stampers Showcase Bloghop. Today we make "a trip around the world" to see all kinds of fun Stamping projects. You now have arrived to the Netherlands! Hello, my name is Annette Elias from de Kijkkast, and I am so happy to see you here!

Deze maand is ons thema iets te laten zien uit de nieuwe Minicatalogus die vanaf 3 augustug geldig zal zijn! Wij als demonstrators mochten deze maand al het een en ander preorderen, en mijn handen jeuken om daar mee aan de slag te gaan!

This month we will show you lots of Sneak Peeks made with products from the new Minicatalog which will start at august 3rd. We, as demonstrators, were able to preorder some of the beautiful products, and I can't wait to start working with them!

Er is heel veel moois om te uit te kiezen, maar voor deze bloghop besloot ik aan de slag te gaan met een prachtige nieuwe Suite, genaamd Harvest Meadow!

There is a lot to choose from, but for this bloghop I decided to get to work with a gorgeous new Suite, with the name Harvest Meadow!

Deze serie producten is helemaal geinspireerd door de natuur. Prachtige bloemen, aren, grassen en meer, en is daardoor geschikt voor allerlei gelegenheden en door het hele jaar heen!

This whole Suite is inspired by Nature, The flowers, wheats and grasses are perfect for all occasions and for the whole year!

De stempelset bestaat uit een aantal bloemen, een aantal prachtige teksten, en een prachtige achtergrondstempel. Twee van de bloemen stempelde ik, en kleurde ik in met Blender Pens en inkt.

The stampset has floral images, some elegant textstamps, and a great backgoundstamp. Here I stamped two floral images, and I coloured them with ink and Blender Pens.

Ik stanste de gekleurde afbeeldingen uit, en vervolgens ook een aantal extra bloemige silhouetten, met de bij de set horende stansset: Harvest Dies.

I Diecut the coloured flowers and also diecut some silhouettes with the dies that go with the set, the Harvest Dies

Bij de Suite hoort ook prachtig designpapier, het Harvest Meadow DSPP, in warme koesterende kleuren, met een combinatie van botanische en tegeltjesmotieven. Ik gebruikte hier diverse dessins bij elkaar en stelde zo mijn achtergrond samen. Wat inkten met de Blending Brushes, en hier en daar wat scheuren, zorg voor nog meer textuur en diepte.

In the Suite is also the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper, in warm athmospheric colours, and a combination of botanical and tile images. Here I used several of those designs together to make me a interesting background. By inking a bit, with Blending Brushes, and some tearing here & there I added some extra depth and texture.

Op het centrale paneel stempelde ik heel subtiel met de achtergrondstempel uit de set, en vervolgens stempelde ik er heel licht een van de teksten overheen. Deze heeft hier een puur decoratieve functie.

On the central panel I stamped the backgroundstamp very lightly, and then I stamped one of the textstams on top of that, In this case this text has purely a decorative function.

Een van de opvallende elementen op de kaart is het geweldige Cork Specialty Paper! Dit is ECHT kurk, heel dun gesneden, op een papieren ondergrond, waardoor het heel makkelijk te bewerken is. Stansen, scheuren, het kan allemaal! Het geeft echt een geweldige natuurlijk en rustieke touch aan elk project!

One of the eyecatching elements on this card is the gorgeous new Cork Specialty Paper! This is REAL cork, cut very very thin and added to a paper background, which makes it easy to tear, diecut etc. This Specialty Paper gives a rustic and natural look to each project!

Ik gebruikte een van de teksten uit de set, en maakte er met een van de stansen uit de Harvest Meadow stans set er een label van. Met een stukje Diamond Weave Ribbon, en een van de Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots , beiden ook onderdeel van deze Suite, heb ik dit op de kaart bevestigd. Dit geeft lekker veel extra structuur en een beetje glans.

I Used one of the texts in the set and turned it into a label with one of the dies of the Harvest Meadow Dies. With some Diamond Weave Ribbon and one of theBrushed Metallics Adhesive Backed Dots, both also part of the Harvest Meadow Suite, I added the label to my card. Those embellishments provide some extra texture and some shine.

Om het af te maken bracht ik nog wat spettertjes aan over de kaart met een Stampin'Write Marker, en de gestanste bloemen gaf ik een subtiel glinsterlaagje met de Wink of Stella Glitterbrush.

To finish it off I added some splatters with a Stampin'Write Marker, and at last I gave some glitter to the diecut flowers with the Wink of Stella Glitterbrush.

Met al die laagjes en structuren die zo mooi combineren krijg je vanzelf een natuurlijk ogend resultaat!

With all those layers and structures you automatically get that natural looking result!

Misschien had je het al gezien dat de stijl van deze set ook in de jaarcatalogus terug te vinden is. Dat klopt helemaal, want de Harvest Meadow Suite is gemaakt om perfect te combineren met de Quiet Meadow set! Als je de onderdelen van beide set combineert heb je natuurlijk NOG meer mogelijkheden!

Maybe you already noticed that the style of this set seeems to look a bit familiar!? You are absolutely right about that. This Harvest Meadow Suite was desogned to coordinate with the Quier Meadow undle. When you use thhose sets together it gives even more possibilities!

Maar eigenlijk had ik al meer sets gezien die geweldig met deze set zullen gaan combineren!~Ik heb er nu al zin in om lekker te gaan mixen en matchen! Zo heb ik nog meer plezier van deze mooie set!

But in fact I have already seen more sets that will coordinae perfectly with this set! I look forward to mixing and matching them all. It will enhance the fun, I am sure!
