Tijdloze charme met Cottage Wreath - New at SU Bloghop - Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla

In deze laatste New At SU bloghop van het jaar werken we met slechts twee kleuren: Crumb Cake en Very Vanilla!

In this last New At SU bloghop of the year we work with only two colours: Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla!

Deze kleurcombinatie nodigde mij uit om een beetje in Vintage stijl te gaan werken!

This colour combination inspired me to work in Vintage style!

En door lekker veel distresstechnieken gaf ik er bovendien een Shabby draai aan.

And by using several distressingtechniques I gave it a Shabby touch!

De set die ik deze keer gebruikte is de set Cottage Wreaths, een favoriet van mij, zo'n set die nooit verveelt en het hele jaar door te gebruiken is!

The set that I used for today is Cottage Wreaths, a favourite set, and a set that never gets out of date, and it can be used all through the year!

De diverse stempels uit de set gebruikte ik ook om de achtergrond te maken. Na het stempelen gaf ik de achtergrond structuur met de Timeworn Type Embossingfolder, en ik maakte de randjes lekker ruig met mijn schaartje!

Several stamps from the set were used to make the background. After stamping I added some structure with the Timeworn Type embossingfolder, and I roughened up the edges of the panels with my Paper Snips.

Stiekem sneakte ik er ook wat goud bij om de kaart net een beetje meer glamour te geven. Met Heat & Stick Embossingpoeder en Gilded Leafing (bladgoud) krijg je een prachtige shabby goudlook.

I sneaked in some gold to give the card a little touch of glamour. With Heat & Stick Embossingpowder and Gilded Leafing you can achieve a lovely shabby distressed gold look.

De imperfecties dragen in dit geval bij aan de vintage sfeer!

Het goud komt terug in het gouden koord en de geborsteld gouden dot dit ik op de strik bevestigde. De spettertjes bracht ik aan met een Crumb Cake Stampin'Write Marker. Alle gestanste items stanste ik met de Cottage Wreaths Dies.

The gold is also used in the Trim, and the brushed metallic dot, that were added under and on top of the bow. The splatters were added with a Stampin'Write Marker. All diecut pieces were made with the Cottage Wreaths dies.

Ondertussen ben ik klaar met alle kerstkaarten, en lonken alle nieuwe producten me al toe, maar het leek me leuk om vandaag te laten zien dat je ook de bekende items uit de jaarcatalogus vooral niet moet vergeten!

By now my Christmascards are finished, and all the new products are smiling at me, but I thought it would be fun to show you today that we should not forget to use all those beautiful items from our Annual Catalog!

Autumnal Card - Ink - Stamp - Share Bloghop - Stampers Showcase

Hallo en hartelijk welkom bij de Ink Stamp- Share Showcase Bloghop! Dit is een extra bloghop naast onze maandelijkse versie.

In deze bloghop laten de deelnemers zien waar ze zoal mee bezig zijn. Een heel vrije invulling dus! Dat levert altijd een heerlijk afwisselende berg inspiratie op!

Hello and welcome to the Ink Stamps Share Bloghop. This is an extra bloghop, that comes next to our usual monthly Hop. In this Showcase Bloghop you can just show, whatever you have been working on! So there will probably be lots of versatility!

Aangezien ik echt enorm van de warme, intense kleuren van de herfst houd, en geinspireerd werd door de verkleurende bomen in onze tuin en straat, besloot ik vandaag een herfstige kaart te maken.

I just love the warm intense colours of autumn, and I was inspired by all the changes of the colours of the trees in our garden and street, so then I decided I would make a card with an autumnal look.

Ik maake er een lekker rustiek projectje van. Dat rustieke past ook echt bij deze tijd van het jaar!

It became a card with a rather rustic look. That rustic feeling fits so well with this time of the year!

Die kleuren en die structuren, ik houd er zo van!

Those colours and those structures, I just love it!

En het is eigenlijk helemaal niet zo moeilijk om te maken!

And it is not that hard to make this!

Ik begon met de krans, Met de Seasonal Swirls dies stanste ik meerdere kransen uit, in allerlei kleuren cardstock die ik mooi bij elkaar vond passen! ( meteen een mooie manier om je restjes op te gebruiken) Zie je ook dat subtiele goudglimmertje? Ik stanste ook een kransje uit het Gold Shimmer Vellum. Dit staat er zo mooi bij!

I started with the wreath. With the Seasonal Swirls Dies I diecut multile wreaths, in different colours that match nicely (An nice way to use your scrap pieces!) Do you notice that little gold shimmer? I also diecut one wreath from the Gold Shimmer Vellum. It looks so well with the other colours!

De Seasonal Swirls dies zijn onderdeel van het Sparkle of the Season voordeelpakket. Stempels en dies zijn beiden in de Minicatalogus te vinden!

The Seasonal Swirls Dies are part of the Sparkle of the Season Bundle. Stamps and dies are both in the Mini Catalog!

Natuurlijk zijn er allerlei extra onderdelen om de krans helemaal in stijl verder aan te kleden.

Ofcourse there are several extra items to dress up the wreath in style!

Ik stempelde enkele takjes en stanste deze vervolgens uit, en ook voegde ik wat pompoentjes toe. Door deze rondom wat te sponzen krijgen ze een gezellig bolle vorm. Ik voegde wat Champagne Rhinestones toe om de pompoenen nog even een accentje te geven.

I stamped some branches and leaves and diecut those, and also added some pumpkins. By sponging them with some ink their round shape looks more dimensional. Some Champagne Rhinestones were added as a fun accent.

De twee teksten komen uit de Nederlandstalige stempelset Samen Sterk. Ideaal zulke kleine tekstjes, en voor zoveel gelegenheden geschikt! Je kunt ze ook prima combineren, zoals je hier ziet om je boodschap extra nadruk te geven.

The texts are from the Dutch stampset Samen Sterk. I love such small sentiments and they are so versatile. As you see here it is also great to make your own combinations with them to emphasize your message!

Ik stanste nog wat extra losse blaadjes uit en voegde die toe op de plekjes die ik nog wat kaal vond.

I diecut some extra leaves and adhered those to the spots that needed something extra.

Maar wat is een kaart zonder bijpassende achtergrond? Deze lekker bewerkte grungy achtergrond maakt echt de rustieke look compleet!

But what is a card without a matching background? With this detailed grungy and inky background I completed the rustic look.

De Timeworn Type Embossingfolder speelt hier natuurlijk een belangrijke rol bij! Is ie niet gaaf met al die grungy structuurtjes?

The Timeworn Type Embossingfolder plays a big part in this. Don't you love all this structure and grunge?

Ik inkte eerst het achtergrondpapier met dezelfde kleuren als ik voor de krans had gebruikt. Daarna emboste ik deze, en vervolgens ging ik er met Soft Suede inkt nog eens overheen om de structuur te benadrukken! En toen sneed ik dit bewerkte paneel in drie strips.

First I inked the background in the same colours that were used for the wreath. Then I embossed the panel, and then I added Soft Suede ink over it to emphasize the structure. After that I cut the panel into three strips.

Door de strips onderaan grof te scheuren en te inkten werd het net nog wat stoerder!

By tearing the strips and inking the rough edges it all became even more rustic.

Alles mengt mooi met elkaar, en dat is natuurlijk vooral zo door de kleuren die mooi combineren en overal terugkomen.

Everything blends beautifully because of the used colours and the fact that all colours are used in all the elements.

En herfstige kaarten kun je gerust gewoon het hele jaar door sturen! Soms past het gewoon precies bij de gelegenheid! We gaan tenslotte allemaal wel eens door een pittige of heftige tijd, en hoe fijn is het dan om op zulke momenten een bemoedigend en steunend kaartje te krijgen dat recht doet aan dit gevoel.

And I think colours like this can be send all through the year. Sometimes it just fits for the occassion. After all we all go through rough times sometimes, and how lovely it is to receive an encouraging or supporting cards at such moments.
