Deze keer is het onderwerp van Simpel tot meer uitgebreid, oftewel van Stijlvol Simpel tot uitgebreid Luxe!
This time our theme is Simple and Stepped Up! Or as you can also say from Stylish Simple, to Stepped Up luxury!
Op deze manier hopen we te laten zien dat je met elke set, het zo eenvoudig of juist uitgebreid kunt maken als jij zelf wilt. Je kunt materialen toevoegen bijvoorbeeld, maar ook technieken invoegen!
This way we hope to show you how can use any stampset as simple or elaborate as you like! You can add more products or use more techniques for example!
De set die ik deze keer uitkoos is Lovely & Sweet, een prachtige botanisch getinte set uit de Mini Catalogus, die nu eens niet in een bloementhema is, maar meer in de plantenhoek te zoeken is, en dan ook nog eens tot de verbeelding sprekende soorten planten, namelijk de vanille- cacao- en amandel! Daardoor is het een ideale set voor alle gelegenheden!
The set I used this time is called Lovely & Sweet, a lovely botanical themed set from the Mini Catalog. Not a very flowery set this time, but one with special plants like Vanilla, Almond and Cocoa! This makes it a perfect "All Occasions"set!
Wat je ook op elke van mijn drie kaarten terug vindt is het Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP! De vintage achtige afbeeldingen, en de natuurlijke kleuren in combinatie met goud details maken dat je er alle kanten mee op kunt ( en bovendien is het supermooi!)
What you will find on all three cards as well is this Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP. The vintagelike images, the natural colours with little gold details make it a pack of paper that is superversatile (and incredibly gorgeous)
Op elke kaart gebruikte ik dezelfde set en papier, en ook de indeling komt elke keer terug!
Bij de eerste kaart maakte ik een achtergrond van een vierkant en een strook designpapier, en daarop kwam de gestempelde en uitgestanste cacaoplant! Omdat de afbeelding zo mooie gedetailleerd is is inkleuren niet perse noodzakelijk!
On all three cards I used the same set, paper and layout!
This first card consists of a simple background made with a square piese and a strip of the DSP. On top of that came the stamped and diecut cocoaplant! Since the image is beautifully detailed colouring is not absolutely necessairy!
De achtergrond kreeg wat subtiele stempelafdrukjes, en ik stempelde de tekst. Het label en het tabje stanste ik uit. Resultaat: Een rustige, stemmige kaart die stijlvol is dankzij de mooie producten.
*** Helaas lijkt het de afgelopen dagen maar niet echt helder licht te worden, dus de foto's zijn helaas niet optimaal! Mijn excuses, ik zal ze zodra mogelijk vervangen!
The background got some subtle stamping, and I also stamped the text. The label and the tab were diecut. Result is a simple and clean card, but still stylish because of the products
*** I am sorry for the quality of the pictures. The daylight is rather bad at the moment, but as soon as possible I will replace these by better ones!
Op de tweede kaart voegde ik een extra kleur toe, in dit geval groen! Ook matte ik het vierkante stuk DSP en kwam er op de achtergrond een extra vlak DSP! Omdat de afbeelding wat kleiner is stempelde ik deze nu een paar keer.
On the second card I added an extra colour, green! I also matted the square piece of DSP on some cardstock and added some extra DSP in the background. Bedause this Vanilla Image is a bit smaller I stamped it a few times.
De afbeelding kleurde ik met inkt en Blenderpens. Het achtergrondpapier bestempelde ik een beetje en met Blending Brushes liet ik het groen wat meer terugkomen. Met de stansen stanste ik wat kleine blaadjes en bloemetjes. Ook voegde ik nu wat Embellishments toe!
The images were coloured with ink and Blenderpens. The background DSP was stamped a bit and with Blending Brushes I added some more colour! With the dies I diecut some extra small flowers and leaves. I also added some Embellishments this time
Deze kurk embellishments passen superleuk bij het natuurlijke thema!
These cork embellishments fit perfectly with the natural theme!
Op de derde kaart deed ik nog meer! Deze keer kleurde ik de afbeelding van de amandeltak in met Stampin'Blends. Ik voegde een extra laag toe aan de tak door deze ook te stansen uit cardstock en deze versprongen op elkaar te plakken. Ik stanste extra blaadjes en bloemetjes en kleurde deze ook. Ook zie je dat er hier en daar wat scheurrandjes terug komen.
On the third card I added some more! This time i coloured the Almondbrach image with Stampin'Blends. I diecut it and added more depth by also diecutting this shape from coloured cardstock and offsetting this under the coloured shape. Some extra flowers and leaves were diecut and this time I coloured these too. Some tearing was done as well!
Deze keer kreeg de achtergrond extra lagen, zowel in de collage stempeltechniek als met stukken DSP. Ook kwam er een mooie gestanste borderrand op de strook dsp! Het label gebruikte ik nu als extra onderlaagje voor de tekst.
This time the background got some extra layers, partly stamped in the collage stamping technique and partly from pieces of the DSP. I also added a beautiful border with leaves on the DSP strip. The label was now used as an extra layer for the text strip.
Voor het stempelen en de sierrand gebruikte ik de Notes of Nature set! En ook voegde ik wat van het prachtige Faux Leather Trim toe, voor een stoere en luxe afwerking!
For the collage stamping and the border I used this Notes Of Nature set! Some FauwX Leather Trim was added as well, for a cool but also luxurious finishing touch!
Het past niet voor niets allemaal zo geweldig bij elkaar. De beide sets, het papier en de embellishments komen allemaal uit deze Nature's Sweetness Collectie!
It all matches so beautifully and that has a reason! Both sets, the DSP, and the embellishments all come from this Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection!
En met zo'n collectie kun je zelf kiezen hoe en wat je kiest en gebruikt, en ook kun je er natuurlijk je eigen "sausje"of combinatie altijd aan toevoegen! Jij bent de kunstenaar, dus kies wat bij jou past! ( of wissel het gewoon lekker af, dat vind ik zelf altijd het leukste!)
And with such a collection it is up to you to choose what you choose and what you use, and ofcourse it is fun to add your own ingredients too! You are the creator, so pick what fits your style the best! ( or just choose for variation, that is what I like to do!)
