Vandaag is het onderwerp The Power of 3's! Oftewel de kracht van drietallen!
Today our theme is The Power of 3's!
In de natuur, maar ook in de kunst, kom je het vaak tegen, drietallen! Op de een of andere manier geeft het rust en evenwicht als je iets in drieen doet!
In nature, in art, you can find it everywhere: Three's! In a very mystical way it always works to do things in 3's! it is pleasing and peaceful for the eyes!
En vandaag doen we het ook op onze stempelprojecten. Gevraagd werd om drie soorten DSP, drie afbeeldingen, en drie embellishments in je kaart te verwerken! Maar ik trok het thema "3" nog iets verder door!
And today we use it on our stamped projects too! We were asked to add threee kinds of DSP, three images, and three embellishments! But I added some more "3" elements to that!
Vandaag had ik zin om iets met deze superschattige Sneeuwpoppetjes te doen, dus stempelde ik er drie. Met Stampin'Blends kleurde ik ze in.
En ja, ook de witte sneeuwpoppen kleurde ik in. Door lichte schaduwen aan te brengen breng je ze namelijk tot leven! Ook in de natuur is wit nooit helemaal wit! Ook in de workshopserie "Tips & tricks met de Stampin'Blends" die ik in deze maanden geef komt dit terug!
Today I felt like making something with these ubercute snowmen! So I stamped three of them and coloured them with Stampin'Blends!
And yes, I also coloured the with snowmen! By adding shading you bring them to life! Also in nature white is hardly ever only white! That is also one of the things I teach in my workshopseries "Tips and tricks with Stampin'Blends"that I am doing these months!
De set Festive Friends bevat niet alleen deze leuke sneeuwman, maar nog wel meer feestelijke vriendjes! En ze zijn zo ontzettend grappig getekend!
The set Festive Friends contains not only this cute snowman, but some more festive lads! And they are designed in such a sassy way!
Na het stansen kwamen de drie terecht op dit leuke grote label, dat ik op de flap van mijn funfoldkaart plakte.
After diecutting the three got their spot on this lovely big label, that I adhere to the flap of my funfoldcard!
De funfoldkaart is een oude bekende in de wereld van de funfoldkaarten, en heel makkelijk te maken. Het is eigenlijk een gewone basiskaart met 1 extra vouw op 3,5 cm van de rechterkant. Je krijgt dan meteen een driedeling op de kaart, en dat was vandaag natuurlijk heel toepasselijk!
The funfold is an oldie but a goodie, in the world of funfolds, and very easy to make! In fact is a normal sized basic card with one extra fold, on 3,5cm of the right side. This gives a division in three parts, and ofcourse that is very for this theme!
Het leuke van deze kaart is dat als je hem opent je nog steeds het belangrijkste element van de voorkant van de kaart blijft zien!
The fun effect of this card that when the card is opened, you still see the main part of the front of the card!
En dit model geeft je lekker veel ruimte om te versieren!
And it provides lots of room to decorate!
\Er is aan de binnenkant ook ruimte om je persoonlijke boodschap te schrijven. Ik vond het leuk om ook hier weer een drietal terug te laten komen. De drie gestempelde sneeuwkristallen!
On the inside of the card there is enough room to write a personal message. I thought it wwas fun to have another three here again. the three stamped snowcrystals!
Bij deze kaart is de basis helemaal in blauwtinten gemaakt. Secret Sea een Cloud Cover. Dit zijn twee van de nieuwste In Colors!
The base of this card is all made in bleus! Secret Sea and Clouw Cover, two of the newest In Colors!
Hiertoe combineerde ik drie printjes uit dit pak Boho Vibes DSP. Nee, geen kerstpapier dus, maar werkt het hierbij niet fantastisch?
To do this I combined three patterns of this pack of Boho Vibes DSP! Indeed no christmaspaper, but doesnt it work great?
Bij al dat koele blauw is Cherry Cobbler natuurlijk een heerlijk warme accentkleur!
With all that cool blue Cherry Cobbler is a lovely and warm accentcolour!
Op de voorzijde kwamen drie uitgestanste sneeuwkristallen die ik accentueerde met een strasssteentje die ik met een Stampin’ Blend in de kleur Cherry Cobbler helemaal qua kleur liet terugkomen! Ook het lint aan het label is eigenlijk wit en maakte ik met de alcoholmarker helemaal op kleur!
On the front I added three diecut snowflakes with an accent of a Rhinestone Basic Jewel that I gave the perfect colour with a Stampin'blends alcoholmarker in the colour Cherry Cobbler. I did the same with the ribbon, which was originally white!
En ik zorgde er voor dat je nog steeds drie van die sneeuwkristalletjes ziet als de kaart open is! Wist je dat de meeste mensen van nature vanzelf vaak al voor drietallen kiezen?
And I made sure you still see three of these snowcrystals when the card is opened! Did you know that most people are naturally attracted to using things in 3's?
