We gingen deze keer aan de slag met de Mix & Match Efemera Packs!
This time we went to work with the Mix & Match Efemera Packs!
Efemera zijn papieren spulletjes die je eenmalig gebruikt. Het kunnen labels, plaatjes, strookjes ed zijn. Ze worden door knutselaars vaak gebruikt om collage-achtige werkstukken te maken. Daarbij combineer je ze naar hartenlust en maak je je er je eigen unieke geheel van.
Ephemera are paper goodies that are used once. It can be labels, images, strips etc! Paper Crafters love using them for collage-like project. It is fun to mix and match them and make your own unique combinations.
Je kunt ze zelf bij elkaar verzamelen, je kunt ze zelf maken.... maar Stampin'Up! heeft een hele collectie samengesteld met allerlei Efemera die je onderling allemaal met elkaar kunt combineren! Mixen en matchen maar. Ideaal! En ze zijn zo leuk en vrolijk om te zien! Laatst had ik een kadootje nodig voor een jonge meid van 17, een creatieve dame die kaartjes en happy mails maakt en aan journaling doet! Ineens wist ik het: Ik gaf haar een pak DSP en bijpassende efemera. Wauw, dat was ECHT een schot in de roos!
You can search for them and collect them, you can make them... but Stampin'Up! has made a great collection of all kinds of Ephemera that are all made to mix and match together! How cool is that! And they look so cute! Recently I needed an idea for a gift for a 17 year old girl. She is very creative and this young lady loves making cards, happy mails and she is a great journaler. Suddenly I had an idea....I gave her some DSP and Ephemerapacks! That was a great choice, she was over the moon happy with it!

En als je - net als ik - dol bent op stempels kun je dat er natuurlijk ook aan toevoegen. Hier stempelde ik bijvoorbeeld wat stoere structuurtjes op het achtergrondpapier met de set Gears & Textures

Het is zo leuk om een beetje te schuiven en een leuke combinatie te bedenken. Maar het is niet zo moeilijk want alles past bij elkaar!
It is so much fun to try and replace all the elements until you have made a nice composition. The fact that all the elements matc together makes it easy!

This Everyday Essentials DSP - Mix & Match is all made to match with the Ephemera... How cool is that!
Ik gebruikte nu het fijne streepje en het vrolijke bloemetjespapier!
Now I used the thin stripe and the lovely flowery paper!
Maar natuurlijk kun je er nog veel meer bij bedenken. Zoals dit strikje van Bakerstwine bovenaan het label!
But ofcourse you can add extra things as well! Like this bow made of Bakers Twqine on the top of the label!
En als je - net als ik - dol bent op stempels kun je dat er natuurlijk ook aan toevoegen. Hier stempelde ik bijvoorbeeld wat stoere structuurtjes op het achtergrondpapier met de set Gears & Textures
And when you love stamping a lot - like I do - you can ofcourse add some stamping as well! Here I stamped some cool structures on the background papier with the set Gears & Textures.
Om het nog makkelijker te maken gebruikte ik een schets voor het maken van deze kaart! Deze komt van Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenges.
To make it even easier I used a sketch to make this card.It comes from a challenge of Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenges!
Simpel, snel en reuze leuk om te doen! Ik vond het een leuke afwisseling! Normaal gesproken zou ik de Efemera namelijk eerder gebruiken in combinatie met veel gestempel en uiteenlopende technieken, maar ik moet toegeven: dit is ook erg leuk!
Simple, quick and so much fun to do! I loved doing this, as a challenge! Usually I would sooner use the Ephemera in a combination with lots of stamping and several inky techniques! But I must say this is fun too!
