Hippe vogels in zoete kleurtjes - Ink Stamp Share Bloghop - Colour Challenge

Deze maand hebben we een heel leuke kleurenchallenge!

This month we have a fun colour challenge!

Het is absuluut een vrolijke combinatie, vind je ook niet?

It as an absolutely happy combination don't you think?

Ik ben even door mijn stempelcollectie gegaan tot ik inspiratie kreeg, en dat lukte!

I went through my stampcollection to get a spark of inspiration and yes, that happened!

En zo maakte ik twee kleurrijke kaarten met hippe vogeltjes!

And then I made two colourful cards with some funky birds!

Deze set Birds Eye View is onweerstaanbaar leuk! De geinige vogeltjes zijn zo lekker losjes en simpel getekend, dat ze heel grappig worden, en met de bijbehorende accessoires kun je er leuke tafereeltjes mee maken!

This set Birds Eye View is just irresistible. The funky images of the birds are designed in a loose,simple way that gives them a funny look, and with all the extra elements and accesories you can make all kind of lovely scenes!

De afbeeldingen werden allemaal ingekleurd met Stampin'Blends, uiteraard in de Challenge kleuren, en daarna knipte ik ze uit. Dat gaat trouwens heel makkelijk bij deze vormen.

Het kleuren van de vogeltjes is echt een super ontspannen werkje! Ik heb ze lekker aan de tuintafel gemaakt!

The images were all coloured with Stampin'Blends, ofcourse in the colours of the Challenge, and then I fussy cut them all. In fact fussy cutting is rather easy since the shapes are very simple.

Colouring them is supereasy too. I made these on a sunny day at our gardentable!

Op zo'n kleurrijke kaart speelt de achtergrond een belangrijke rol. Dus daar heb ik een leuke inktige techniek op losgelaten, waarin ook alle challenge kleuren weer terugkomen. Ik houd er enorm van om zulke techniekjes in mijn workshops te verwerken. Ze worden altijd superenthousiast ontvangen!

On a colourful card like this one, the background plays an important role. So I used a fun inky technique to make it, while using the challenge colours again, ofcourse! I like teaching techniques likes these in my workshops. My workshopguests are always so happy and enthusiastic about them!

Het leek me leuke er een beetje bijzondere tekst op te verwerken!

I thought it would be fun to add something different for a text!

Deze keer stempelde ik ze namelijk niet, maar gebruikte ik deze nieuwe Wanted To Say dies. Hiermee kun je diverse mooie teksten uitstansen, heel gedetailleerd! Bovendien zitten er leuke "onderlaagjes"bij om de teksten te matten. Op deze kaarten stanste ik de onderlaag uit Vellum Cardstock. Lekker subtiel maar toch net wat contrast voor de tekst!

This time I did not stamp them but used those Wanted To Say dies. With this set you can diecut several beautiful texts, very detailed. There are also extra layers included to put under the texts. On these cards I diecut those layers from Vellum Cardstock, to keep it subtle but still adding some contrast to the letters.

In de stansenset zit bovendien een fraai bloemetje dat ik toevoegde aan beide kaarten, voor net nog dat beetje versiering. Ik werkte ze af met wat Iredescent Pearls

In the same set if dies is a little flower that I added to both cards, just to add that little bit of decoration. I finished them of with some Iredescent pearls.

Vind je het niet heerlijk als alles zo mooi met elkaar combineert? Ik kan daar echt van genieten!

It is so pleasing when all elements coordinate, don't you think! It always makes me enjoy creating even more!

Het centrale paneel matte ik op drie van de vier challenge kleuren, en in de vierde kleur voegde ik onderaan wat lint toe, afgewerkt met een strikje. Zo komen alle kleuren weer even terug! En zo is het helemaal klaar en naar mijn zin! Opsturen maar!

The central panel was layered on three of the four challengecolours, and the fouth coloured was added by some ribbon, that I wrapped around the panel and finished with a bow. That is the final element that was needed. The cards are both ready to be send!
