Vandaag gaan we de catalogus CASEN! Casen is het namaken van een project, en dat kan letterlijk precies namaken zijn, of namaken maar je eigen draai er  aan geven. De catalogi zijn altijd een grote bron van inspiratie!

Today we will CASE the catalog! This can be copying everything, or using the example and changing things as you like it. The catalogs are a great source of inspiration!

Op bladzijde 50 van de Mini Catalogus vond ik deze kaart!

On Page 50 of our Mini Catalogus, I found this card!

De set die hier voor gebruikt werd heet Memorable Blooms en bestaat uit stempels van bloemen en mooie teksten, en bijpassende, heel fraaie, stansen!

The set has lovely flowerstamps and sentiments and some matching, absolutely gorgeous, dies!

En de set heb ik ook gebruikt om mijn versie te maken!

And I used this set for my version as well!

Ook ik nam de prachtige achthoek als centraal punt op mijn card!

I too took the octagon as the basic point on my card!

Het frame heeft een prachtige, ingebouwde filigraan bloemendecoratie.

The frame has a  beautiful built-in detailed flower decoration.

 Bij het voorbeeld zit er een gestempelde en gekleurde bloem op, en dat deed ik ook, maar ik voegde ook bloemen toe om achter de achthoek te steken.Ik vind de bloemen ook zo prachtig!

On the inspirationcard a stamped and coloured flower was added to the octagon, and I did so too, but I also added some extra flowers to tuck behind the octagon. I just love these flowers so much!

En ik heat emboste alle bloemen in goud!

And I heat Embossed them all in gold!

Met Stampin'Blends kleurde ik ze in. Door in dotjes te kleuren krijg je een leuk, verweerd effect!

I coloured them with Stampin'Blends. By doing that in little dots, you get a fun weathered effect!

Uit glinsterend speciaal papier stanste ik een grote tak met blaadjes die ik in stukjes geknipt hier en daar tussen de bloemen stak.

From some glitterpaper I diecut a big branch with leaves that I cut in pieces and I used these to be added between te flowers.

Net als bij de voorbeeldkaart maakte ik van de achthoek een label door er een gaatje in de maken en de bovenkant te decoreren met prachtig luchtig lint. Alleen koos ik voor goudtinten om dit gouden element mooi door te trekken.

Just like was done with the inspirationcard I turned the octagon into a tag, by punching a small opening and decorating it with some transparant ribbon. But instead of white I decided to do that in gold, to let the gold be a returning element.

Ik vind de combinatie van goud, met de roze en roodtinten in de kaart erg geslaagd!

I just love the combination of the gold with the pinks and reds in the card so much!

In plaats van de ruitjes bij de inspiratiekaart, koos ik voor deze lieve bloemetjes, in roze en rood, in watercolorlook! Dit papier komt uit het pak Bloom Impressions DSP, en dit is een Sale-A-Brationkado dat je nu gratis kunt uitkiezen bij een bestelling vanaf 70 euro! Zulk vreselijk leuk papier vind ik dit!

Instead of the plaidpattern that was chosen for the inspirationcard, I chose this lovely flowerpattern in pink and red watercolorlook! It is from the Bloom Impressions DSP, and this is a Sale-A-Brationgift that can now be chosen for free with a 70 euros order! It is such fun, bright paper!

Om het af te maken voegde ik er nog wat van deze messingkleurige vlindertjes aan toe, die in de jaarcatalogus staan, maar nu ook tijdelijk als Sale-A-Brationkado te kiezen zijn! Ze zijn messingkleur, en lichtelijk opgeschuurd, en de kleur matcht prima met de gouden details in mijn kaart.

To finish it off I added some Brushed Brass butterflies, that are from the Annual Catalog, but can now also be chosen as a free Sale-A-Brationgift. The brasscolour matches nicely with the gold elements in the card!

Dit pak vlinderdecoraties is namelijk onderdeel van de EXTRA toegevoegde Sale-A-Brationitems die je nu uit kunt kiezen, naast de Sale-A-Brationitems die we al hadden. Voor alles geldt natuurlijk wel: Zolang de voorraad strekt! Je kunt HIER alle Sale-A-Brationitems bekijken!

These butterflies are part of the extra added Sale-A-Brationitems, that can be chosen on top of the Sale-A-Brationgifts we already had! You can find them all HERE!

En daarmee vind ik deze kaart eigenlijk wel af! Hij is lekker fleurig geworden!

And that was the last addition to my card! It became a fresh and bright one!

Zo zie je dat ik genoeg veranderd heb aan de kaart. De basis en de stempelset heb ik als uitgangspunt overgenomen, maar ik heb er mijn eigen "Kijkkast-sausje" aan toegevoegd. Dat vind ik zelf de leukste manier van CASEN.

As you can see I changed lots of little things on the card. The base and the used set are the same, but I added my own dose of "Kijkkast-sauce" on top of it. This is my favourite way of CASEing!
