Happy Hibiscus in vintage Mixed Media stijl - Stamping with Friends Bloghop - Bloggers Choice

Deze keer waren we helemaal vrij in de keuze voor deze bloghop!

This time we were asked to show what ever we like!

Het leek me dus een goed moment om een kaart te laten zien die we de afgelopen maand in een Kijkkast ClubWorkshop maakten!

It seemed to be a good moment to show a card we made in a Kijkkast Club Workshop last month!

Een lekker artistiek kaartje, met Mixed Media technieken, vintage kleuren en een tropische touch!

A fun artistic card, with Mixed Media techniques, vintage colours and a tropical touch!

Die tropische toch komt door de stempelset Happy Hibiscus, met de bijpassende stansen en de Hybrid Embossingfolder! Een prachtig productpakket uit het Online Only assortiment!

That tropical touch is because of the stampset Happy Hibiscus, with the matching dies and the Hybrid Embossingfolder! This gorgeous bundle is in our Online Exclusive collection!

De bloemen en blaadjes gebruikte ik om de kaart te versieren!

The flowers and leaves were used to decorate the card!

Na het stempelen van de lijntjes en de kleuren, stanste ik ze uit door de stans in de Hybrid Embossingfolder te leggen. Zo stans je de bloemen uit, maar geef je ze tegelijkertijd een prachtig relief!

After stamping the line art and the fillerstamps I diecut them by adding the die in the Hybrid Embossingfolder. That way you can diecut them and give them some lovely 3d texture at te same time!

Ik gebruikte drie paars-rozige kleuren voor de bloemen!

I used three pink-purple colors for the flowers!

Maar hoe leuk is het om de stempels op meerdere manieren te gebruiken!

But how fun is it to use the flowerstamps in more than one way!

Dus ik gebruikte wat Mixed Media technieken....

So I used some Mixed Media techniques...

Om deze prachtige bijpassende cirkels te maken, die ik stanste met de Spotlight on Nature Dies!

To make these lovely matching circles, that were diecut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies!

Zo lijken de cirkels samen te smelten met de bloemen op de voorgrond!

That way these circles seem to melt together with the flowers on the foreground!

Wat er nu nog moest gebeuren was een passende achtergrond maken!

What still had to be done, is making a matching background!

Nog wat techniekjes werden hier gebruikt, en ook bracht ik wat stoere structuren aan met de set Elements of Text, die ook te vinden is bij de Online Only items!

Some more techniques were used here, and I also added some fun effects with this cool set Elements of Text, which is an Online Only item as well!

Dat paste mooi bij elkaar, dus de kaart was bijna klaar! Wat mooie gemarmerde rondjes maakten het af!

That was a nice match, so the card was almost finished! Finally some lovely dots were added to make it al complete!

Ik houd er van om in mijn workshops zulke technieken, toepassingen en trucjes door te geven! Altijd net even anders en vol nieuwe ideeen.

I love to pass such ideas, techniques and tricks in my workshops! Always a bit differrent and full of fun new techniques!
