Xmas Wishes, een kerstkaart in Blauw - Stampin' For Christmas Bloghop

Hallo en welkom bij deze Stampin' For Christmas Bloghop!

Waarom maken we het onszelf zo moeilijk, en waarom zouden we alleen vlak voor de kerst kerstkaarten maken... als dat ook verspreid door het hele jaar kan!
Daarom doe ik graag mee met deze bloghop.... Er is immers genoeg te vinden in de jaarcatalogus waarmee je ook nu bezig kunt zijn met je kerstkaarten! Ik vind het een gave uitdaging!

Why would we only make Christmascards when it comes close to Christmasday.... When we can also spread the fun over the whole year. That is why I love participating in this Hop. There are enough products available right now to start making cards rightaway. I think it is a nice challenge!

Er zijn meerdere klassieke kerstkleuren, of kleurcombinaties! Blauw met goud is er zo eentje! Ik had zin om daar mee aan de slag te gaan!

There are several classic Christmas colours, or colour combinations. Blue wit gold is one of them. I really felt like working with this combo!

Ik startte de kaart met de achtergrond! Een prachtige klassieke ruit!

I started the card with the background, a beautiful classic Plaid pattern!

Hiervoor gebruikte ik deze nieuwe achtergrondstempel: Sketched Plaid! Als ruitjes fan moest ik deze hebben! Je kunt er zo veel leuks mee doen!

To make this I used the new backgroundstamp: Sketched Plaid. As a fan of plaid and gingham patterns I just had to have it! You cando so many fun things with it!

Hier stempelde ik met Versamark op Blueberry Bushel cardstock en strooide daar Gold ebossingpoeder er over.Metde Heat Tool liet ik het poeder samensmelten tot een glanzende gouden laag. Ook de randjes van het paneel zette ik losjes aan met het Versamark Inktpad, en emboste ik vervolgens ook weer in goud.

Here I stamped with Versamark on some Blueberry Bushel backgroud and added Gold Embossingpowder to it. With the Heattol I let the powder melt into a lovely shiny gold layer. The edges of the panelwere also loosely inked with the Versamark Inkpad and then heat embossed in Gold.

Met een Blending Brush kleurde ik de randen met Night if Navy inkt, zodat er een mooie gloed ontstond.

With a Blending Brush I coloured he edges with Night of Navy Ink, to get a nice glowy result.

Tijd om de kaart verder op te bouwen!

Time to build up the card!

De set Season of Chic en de bijpassende Chic Dies, bevatten mooie sneeuwkristallen!

The set Season of Chic and the matching Chic Dies contain some beautiful snowcrystals!

Ik stempelde en heatemboste er een paar, maar ook stanste ik er enkele uit cardstock en Gold Foil Sheet. Door zo een beetje te combineren en te varieren krijg je een leuk geheel, dat ik in de hoek plaatste.

I stamped and heat embossed some, and also simply diecut a few from cardstock and Gold Foil Sheet. By mixing and matching a bit you get a fun, interesting group of flakes, that was placed in the corner.

Met wat Festive Pearls en wat Simply Elegant Trim zette ik het goud-thema nog een beetje voort.

With some Festive Pearls and some Simply Elegant Trim I prolonged the gold theme a bit more.

De tekst stelde ik zelf samen. XMAS stempelde ik met de set Alphabest, en Wishes komt uit de set Sending Smiles.

I made the text myself, with again some mixing and matching. XMASA was made with the set Alphabest, and Wishes comes from the set Sending Smiles!
