Vandaag wordt het een feestelijke boel, want we maken verjaardagskaarten!
Today will be a festive hop! We will show all kind of Birthday Cards!
Dus ik ging lekker door de Mini Catalogus bladeren, op zoek naar de meest feestelijke set die ik zou kunnen vinden. Er waren er meerdere, maar deze keer koos ik voor deze!
So I went browsing through the Mini Catalog, to find the most festive set to work with. There were more than one options to choose from, but this is the one that caught my eye today!
Ik zou het helemaaaaalll niet erg vinden om op mijn verjaardag zo'n overheerlijk ijsje te krijgen!
I would not mind getting such a delicious icecream on my birthday!
Deze set Ice Cream Swirl heeft alles wat zo'n lekker dik verjaardagsijsje nodig heeft. Het is lekker veel ;o), je kunt hem in alle smaken krijgen (nou ja, maken), je kunt hem op verschillende manieren samenstellen, en hij is gewoon zeer smaakvol vormgegeven!
This set, Ice Cream Swirl has everything that such a big tasty Icecream needs! Is is big, volumtious, you can get is (well, make it) in any taste you like, you can make it in several ways, and it just looks so pretty and tasty!
Met Stampin'Blends gaf ik dit koekbekertje, dat ik stempelde op Crumb Cake cardstock, een beetje extra structuur en diepte, simpelweg door licht en schaduw te creeeren.
With Stampin'Blends I gave this waffle cup, that was stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock, some extra structure and depth. Simply by adding light and shadow.
De ijs-swirl maakte ik net echt door met Stampin'Blends in strookjes kleurbanen aan te brengen, in plaats van het echte blenden dat je normaal gesproken meestal met de Stampin'Blends doet.
The icecream swirl got a realistic look by using my Stampin'Blends in strokes, to get these lines, instead of blending as we normally do most of the time with those alcoholmarkers.
De kersjes en het rietje maken het ijsje nog net even leuker Met het puntmesje uit de aanvulset voor de Take Your Pick Tool maakte ik heel kleine snedes precies op de lijntjes van de stempelafdruk, waardoor ik de kersjes en het rietje er in kon steken.
The cherries and the straw are a nice addition to the Ice Cream Swirl. With the precisionknive from the Take Your Pick Crafter Tips, which are an addition to the Take Your Pick Tool I made little slits in which I could put the cherries and straw.
Het is echt een feestje om deze overheerlijke kersenijsjes te kleuren!
It is absolutely fun to colour these delicious cherry icecreams!
De Fine Tip Glue is ideaal en makkelijk om de kersjes en het glazuurlaagje op de donut aan te brengen! Dit maakt het net even wat leuker, vind je ook niet? De tekst komt trouwens ook uit de set.
The Fine Tip Glue is a perfect and simple way to add a shiny layer to the cherries and the glaze on the donut. It makes it just a bit more fun, don't you think? The text is also from the set!
Natuurlijk is het leuk om ook de binnenkant een beetje aan te kleden. Dat doe ik meestal, maar vaak vergeet ik dan daar een foto van te maken. Vandaag vergat ik het een keertje niet ;o)
Ofcourse it is nice to decorate the inside of the card too. I do that most of the times but very often I forget to make a picture of that. Today I didn't! ;o)
Ook de achtergrond kleedde ik gezellig aan!

Deze maakte ik door een aantal strookjes van het supergezellige Most Adored Specialty DSP te gebruiken. Ik heb ze eerst lekker gedistressed en plakte ze daarna pas op! Dat geeft een beetje extra structuur. De kleuren en motiefjes van dit papier vind ik echt superleuk! Het is een Sale-A-Brationkado dat je kunt uitkiezen bij een bestelling vanaf 60 euro.
I made that background from several strips of this lovely Most Adored Specialty DSP. Before adhering the strips I distressed them quite a lot! It just gives that bit of extra interest! I just love the colours and patterns of this paper. It is a Sale-A-Bration gift that can be chosen with a 60 eurosorder, did you know that?
Over de gehele achtergrond voegde ik vrolijke rode en witte drupjes toe. Ik gebruikte hiervoor de Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics flesjes! Ik vind dat zulk leuk spul en je doet er echt eindeloos lang mee!
Over the shole surface of the background little dots in red and white were added. I used this Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics to make them. Love these little bottles, and they last forever!
Alhoewel ik items uit allerlei collecties gebruikte combineert het allemaal wonderwel met elkaar! Wat fijn toch dat dat allemaal kan met Stampin'Up! Je kunt echt je eigen fantasie en combinaties er op loslaten, waardoor je nieuwe dingen blijft ontdekken!
Although I used items from different collections it all matches wonderfully. Such a joy that this all can be done with Stampin'Up! IT really gives you to opportunity to follow your own ideas and inspirations and get different combinations all the time.You keep on discovering new things!
